The text may be strange as I translated it more half-heartedly than usual. Also, thanks for 3100 readings!!
Also, this chapter contains some rather grotesque expressions. Please be warned if you don't like that kind of thing.
—----------—- At Teacher's Lounge—------------
Third POV
On a desk between two sofas were a few tea cakes and teacups. In the nap room were Principal Nezu, Jaisen and Detective Tsukauchi, who later completed his investigation.
Nezu: "You must be tired from the Villain case, so go ahead and relax! I'm just going to ask you some questions from now on."
Jaisen did as Principal Nezu asked and relaxed on the sofa. The sound of Principal Nezu pouring the tea was deceiving the silence that flowed between the two sides.
On the surface, Jaisen seemed normal, but deep down he was uneasy. He was unable to calm down with his headache, although it had gradually disappeared over the hours since he had looked inside Shigaraki's head.
The stirring of Nomu's internal organs a few hours earlier had been a consistent action to try to distract him from the headache. Of course, the main reason was that he was doing it out of habit.
Jaisen slowly turned his gaze towards the principal. Just like him, Nezu was relaxing on the sofa.
Nezu at first glance looks like a human with the quirk of an ordinary mouse. However, he is actually a mouse whose quirk has manifested and given him greater intelligence than a human.
The two people in this nap room were both non-humans living in human society, making them the most irregular of irregulars. The extraordinary aura and silence that erupted between the two of them meant that Tsukauchi, a mere human, could only watch.
While Jaisen struggled with his headache, the sound of Nezu pouring hot tea echoed throughout the room. After pouring, he handed the cup to Jaisen.
Nezu: "Drink up."
Nezu placed the teacup on his left hand, held the cup with his right hand and drank the tea slowly.
Jaisen: "...Thank you."
Jaisen held the cup with his right hand and drank the tea. His headache eased a little and he relaxed, and the Teacher's Lounge was filled with silence and the sound of gulping tea for a while.
Nezu: "Has the headache eased?"
Jaisen: "Yes, a little... Wait, how did you know I had a headache?"
Nezu: "That's because I saw you on your way to the Teacher's Lounge with a scowl on your face, holding your head. Also you were breathing a bit hard."
Jaisen: "I see..."
After Jaisen had calmed down, Nezu began to ask questions.
Nezu: "So let's start the questions. Are you a human?"
The air in the room changed dramatically at the question, which could be described as a bombshell. Tsukauchi was surprised by the question, which was so far above his expectations, and his eyes widened a little for a moment. Jaisen, the person being questioned, did not seem particularly surprised. Rather, he seemed to be impressed.
Jaisen: (He has a high insight even without the eyes. How impressive. I didn't think he could spot me so easily.)
Jaisen: "No, I'm not a human."
Jaisen's answer surprised Tsukauchi even more. Ignoring Tsukauchi, who was even more surprised by Jaisen's answer, Principal Nezu urged him to verify the veracity of the answer.
