Evan-
I have a girlfriend, and I'm planning to break up with her because she's so clingy.
Every time we walk together, she's always holding onto my hands, arms, or even my shirt. Sometimes, I catch her staring at me, and then she'll kiss me out of the blue. Most of the time, she just wants to be with me constantly.
For instance, she's here at the gym right now, sitting on the bleachers, watching us train for our game on Valentine's Day.
"Take a break, guys!" our coach shouted, and I immediately walked over to her.
"Here you go, love," she said, handing me a bottle of water while wiping the sweat off my forehead. "You should always bring water, especially since your training is so intense."
"I can just buy some," I replied.
"But you can save money if you just bring your own water, right?" she said, chuckling.
I was about to speak when my teammates suddenly butted into our conversation.
"Aww! There they go again, being a lovely couple," one of my teammates teased with a playful grin.
"Evan is being babied by his girlfriend again," they teased me.
I immediately took the towel from Elene's hand that she was using to wipe my sweat. "I'll do it."
"I'll do it, love. Just ignore them; they're just jealous because no one is doing this for them hahaha," she said, grabbing the towel I was holding. I quickly grabbed it back, feeling a mix of frustration and embarrassment.
"I'll do it, Elene."
"Love, let me do it so I can wipe your back---"
"I said I'll do it! Damn it, I'm not crippled!" I shouted in frustration.
"S-S-sorry, love. I'll just get your change of clothes, wait," she said, turning away, but I stopped her before she could open my bag.
"Lene, just go home because we might be here late."
"It's fine, love. I'll wait for you so we can go home together because you might pass out again on your way home," she reasoned, chuckling as she pinched my cheeks. I felt a surge of annoyance and tried to brush off her touch.

"Look, your fever is still high," Elene said with a worried tone as she gently touched my forehead.I opened my phone to check the time, and it's already 6:17 pm.
"Elene, your curfew is approaching, so you should go home now. Your dad might scold you again if you're late," I said softly, trying to show my concern for her. I could see the hesitation in her eyes, but I wanted to make sure she didn't get in trouble.
"You changed your wallpaper and lock screen?" she asked while still looking at my phone, so I quickly turned it off.
"Y-yeah, but it's still you. Just a different picture." I lied.
She didn't respond; instead, she kept staring into my eyes, and a soft smile appeared on her lips.
The next day, I woke up feeling so weak that I couldn't even move my hands and feet, so I called out for Mom. But, just as I expected, someone else entered my room.
