Faiz's POV

I got into the room. My eyes wandered around. "Nice." I mumbled. I share the room with Adam while Hakim and Joe share the other room. I looked at how incredible the view was through the window. I can see the sun's setting. I smiled. But, my smile was wiped away when I saw a shadow figure of a man. He was standing and staring at me outside of the cabin. I frowned. Adam came into the room, which made me startled.
"Dude, you scared me." I said with my right hand's on my chest.
"But, I didn't say 'boo'." He said blurred. He took the AC remote, and he turned it on.
"Ugh.." I gave him a glare. I looked back outside, there is nobody. I got goosebumps on both my arms. I didn't get goosebumps for a long time since.. it happened. I don't want to talk about it, let alone to think. I hold my right arms, trying to cover the goosebumps. I can feel there's something wrong with this island. We all have to be careful.

The girls went downstairs while the boys were preparing for the food. They are having barbecue. The girls helped them with setting up the table. They eat well, and they clean up. After that, they went to sit outside. Hakim starts the fire in front of them to heat up as the weather at the island is cold at night. All of them are wearing their hoodie and jacket. They start the discussion with tomorrow's adventure. They all agreed to search for an artifact in the forest and will go back to the cabin before it goes dark because of the curfew said by Mr. Zaid. They don't wanna stay at this island for too long, either.
"So, since we all agreed.." Sab says as she is standing up.
"Oh no.." They sigh, knowing what she's about to say.
"How 'bout we play an ice breaker?" She asks them with a cheerful smile. The others look at each other, raising their eyebrows.
"Come on, it'll be fun." Sab convince them with her 'baby-like' attitude. Don't even know if that's a word.
"Fine." Joe says, looking at her with a smile. He finds Sab cute.

(Wait, what?? Okay, I'm starting to ship them already.)

"Okay, alright. " They said in unison and chuckled.
"Okay! I'll start first. Uhm, my name is Sabreena, with double E. At home, they call me Reena. My friends call me Sab. I live with my parents and a younger sister in a mansion. My dad's a CEO. He's also a part of the royals bloodline. I'm actually not comfortable telling anyone about that, but I feel like you guys are different. And uhm, i like history. " She tells them with a warm smile. She sits back.
"So, your real name is..?" Laila asked her.
"That would make my real name is Tengku Munirah Sabreena Azizah. I don’t go by my real names, actually. " she nervously chuckled.
"I think it suits you." Joe said, smiling at her.
"Thank you, Joe." Sab thanked him, smiling too.
"Okay. My turned." Adam said.

"The name's Adam Zarif. I grew up in England, raised by my Grandpa and Grandma. Love them to death. Then, I moved to Malaysia to live with my mom and dad. I'm an only child, so I do feel lonely, sometimes. My dad likes to hunt, so every weekend, he would take me into the woods to hunt. I always watch him and his 'rich' friends kill the animals. Joe was there. He didn't wanna hunt too but forced to come with his dad. That's when I first met him." The others looked at Joe, seeking confirmation.
"Yeah, it's true." Joe verified.
"I just.. couldn't do that the animals. I just can't. But my dad always forced me to." Adam continues to tell them. Looking down, holding a small branch in his hand. But then, he looked at them and smiled. Trying to hide the pain he felt. The others looked at him with a sad expression.
"We're sorry to hear that." Hakim said, they all felt sympathy.
"Bro, you're not a coward. I knew you like, since 8. You're a human being. We all are." Joe said, trying to assure him with his left hand on Adam's right shoulder. Apparently, they have been best friends since childhood.
"You're right.. thanks, bro." Adam nodded slowly and thanked him.
"You're next." Hakim told Joe.
"Oh, of course. Uhm.. my name's Johan Abdullah. I grew up with my parents and a younger sister named Liah and a younger brother named Uhm, my dad's Chinese-Muslim. And yeah, Adam and I are best friends since we were kids. Every weekend, I went to his mansion with my dad to hunt, and then his mom would give us ice cream. I was bullied a lot back then, but Adam always helped me. Thanks, man." Joe says.
"Always, bro." Adam replied. They fist bumped. They all chuckled a bit.
