After he finished his final race in F1, Seb was slightly nervous that he would walk into the unknown. Although he had thought of several ideas on what to do in his free time, but he was a little bit anxious that he would be hit by retirement syndroms.
But when year 2023 began, he started getting used to it. He had a lot of time to spend for his family, especially both of his daughters. He had a healthy co-parenting with his ex-girlfriend, Myla and that was very important to him.
Talking about girlfriend, he still wasn't into a relationship with anyone after he broke up with her in early 2020. But after his retirement, he felt that he had to think about it.
He suddenly remembered of (Y/N), the sports teacher from Bensheim, who once brought your pupils to his own kart track in Heppenheim in the mid of 2021. And you never came there again since.
It made him regret as he didn't ask for your phone number but at the same time he understood that it would be inappropriate to do so considering it was his first time meeting you.
He was really hoping that you would be back again some other time with bringing your pupils. And he would use his chance to get to know you better. He still remembered that you were a shy person but he believed that once you felt comfortable talking to someone, you wouldn't be too shy anymore.
He then thought of a very good idea, if not the best. He thought that if he actualized his idea, it would be very possible for him to meet you again. He quickly checked the calendar on his phone and began to plan his mission.

"Vettel Kart Competition" was going to be held for 3 days that weekend. Seb, with the help from Britta, invited all schools in Bergstraße district, 8 to 10-year-old pupils, to participate in the competition. In Bergstraße, there were 10 towns and 12 municipalities, including Bensheim.
On Friday, Seb went there by car from his parents' house, accompanied by Norbert and Britta. He was both excited and nervous, not only because he would hold this event for the very first time since he opened this kart track, but also because he didn't know if you would be there.
When he arrived, he saw that a lot of pupils had been there. They would be divided into a couple of groups and would continue to be narrowed down to 8 pupils that would head to the final stage on Sunday.
He glanced to the left and right as he tried to find you and it didn't go unnoticed by Norbert. "Are you searching for someone, Seb?"
"Erm no. I was just looking at the participants. I'm so happy that there are so many kids who can join the competition."
"You should be proud of yourself, son."
"Thank you, dad."
After that, Seb left his father and Britta as he wanted to meet Carl and talked about some things before the competition started. On his way to find him, he met Adrian, (Y/N)'s colleague.
"Sebastian! Do you still remember me?"
Seb did remember him and it made him a little disappointed as it wasn't you who attended the competition. "Ah, you are Adrian from Bensheim, right? How are you?"
"Yes!" he said before shaking hands with Seb. "I'm great, thanks. Wow, I can't believe that you still remember me. It was around two years ago that I came here. What about you?"
