"We're almost there!"

"Wait, wait! Where's Darius and-"

A loud roar echoes through the forest.

In another universe, we all know that Darius Bowman and Kenji Kon were punished for sneaking out of Camp Cretaceous at night to the Raptor Paddock where they sneak out again into the paddock of an aggressive Carnotaur they nicknamed Toro.

In this universe, they do not sneak out of camp and Toro. . . well, let's take a look at this time line.

Shall we?

The Nublar Six all sat in the back of the jeep as it drives through the jungle, the camp counselors, Roxie and Dave taking them to one of Jurassic World's genetic labs where they will get a behind-the-scenes tour.

It was relatively silent before Brooklynn Colin began reading what the others assumed to be comments on her vlog channel. "'When are we going to see something cool?' Chill, dude. I just got here." she said, slumping with a frown.

Darius Bowman wanted to say something, but chose not to. Sammy Guiterrez stepped up to the plate. "Ooh! You should do a baby dinosaur video." she said. "Everybody loves baby animal videos."

Kenji Kon scoffed. "Really, you mean to tell me that people would love to watch videos about snakes? Or spiders? Scorpions? Or-"

"Okay, I get it," Sammy said to the Asian-American teen before he could continue. She sat back before raising a hand up. "I am sure that there is someone who would love to watch videos of those kind of babies."

"Please," Kenji scoffed. "Name one person who would find any of that remotely interesting."

"The Wild Kratts," Darius said in sync with Brooklynn. The two looked at one another in surprise that they came up with the same answer before Brooklynn shrugged. "That's five people if I remember correctly."

Any Wild Kratts fans out there? Sound off!

Darius nodded in agreement before noticing Kenji looking at him. "What? You didn't specify if the answer had to be real or fictional."

Kenji rolled his eyes. "Okay, fine. Name REAL people who would be interested in-"

"The Kratt brothers," Darius and Brooklynn replied without missing a beat. Darius looked to Brooklynn.

"Have you met them by any chance?" he asked.

Brooklynn nods her head. "Yeah, I met them a couple of times last year," she said. "They are so fun and cool to hang out with." She then holds her phone to him and shows a series of photos of her with the Kratt Brothers, Chris and Martin.

Kenji groaned in defeat while Yazmina Faduloa took some hand sanitizer from Ben Pincus. Ten minutes later, they arrived at the Genetics Lab. Once they were inside, they got an exclusive tour of how dinosaurs were made. If one were to look at the boy, they would know that Darius was the most excited. He was the group's resident Dino-Nerd, evident by how he knew multiple dinosaur names the day before on the zipline observation tower.

While Brooklynn interviewed Dr. Henry Wu himself, after feeding into his apparent ego and Sammy asked questions of everything in the lab, Darius and Ben noticed two incubators containing eggs.

"What are these?" Darius asked out loud.

"Carnotaur and Ankylosaurus eggs," answered Dr. Eddward 'Eddie' Smith. "You're in luck, the Carnotaurs have been incubating for months and are due to hatch at any moment now."

"Really? Carnataur?" Darius gasped in excitement, covering his mouth to suppress himself from screaming.

Brooklynn heard what the scientist had said and took Sammy's advice and moved to stand next to the eggs. "Your favorite?" she asked Darius, noticing his look of excitement.

"It's one of my top five favorites," Darius answered before he saw one of the eggs moving. He gasped and leaned down with an eager smile. "This has been a dream of mine since like forever!"

"Dude, that's not a dream," Kenji spoke from where he stood next to Yaz. "A dream is like when you rescue a bunch of mermaids from a shark."

Yaz elbowed the Asian American teen in the ribs, making him grunt in pain

While this happened, Ben noticed that one of the Ankylosaurus eggs was beginning to hatch. Something Dr. Wu was confused about it since the egg was incubating for only two months.

"Come on, come on," Darius said encouragingly to the infant that forced its way out. "There you go. Push, push. You almost got it."

Brooklynn chuckled to herself as she recorded the two live dinosaur births but Darius was the main focus. She looked over to Ben briefly as the young blonde boy held the baby Ankylosaurus. "Hey, one of its head bumps is bigger than the other." she pointed out.

Darius peeled the egg shells off the baby Carnotaur as it squealed. He looked at Ben and assured, "Don't worry, Ben. Ankylosaurus are herbivores."

Ben was honestly too mesmerized by the bumpy Ankylosaurus to pay attention to what Darius had said, or even the fact that he was getting muckus in his hands.

"You know this little guy reminds me of one of the adult Carno's that's too aggressive to be put on display," Kenji said, trying to remind the others that he had been to Jurassic World before. "The guy was like a real demon. Red skin and horns and everything."

Darius hummed in response. "I shall name you Toro." he said to the Carnotaur who squealed in his grip. "I guess you're hungry now, huh?"

"Feed me!" Toro said in a squealing screech as his stomach grumbled in hunger.

"Aw, he named it," Dave said to Roxie with a smile. "That's so cute."

Three minutes later, Darius was given a few strands of meat to feed to Toro while Ben watched Bumpy roll around. Initially, Ben wanted Bumpy to play with Toro, but Darius reminded him that Toro was a carnivore, he might end up trying to eat Bumpy.

But then Dr. Wu showed up with Brooklynn in hand, literally, and declared, "Time for you all to leave." He pushed Brooklynn to the group. "Clearly this group has no respect for my work."

Ben held up the baby Ankylosaur. "But what about Bumpy?"

"Or Toro?" Darius asked.

"Aw, even Ben named his," Dave remarked with a smile. "That's cute."

"The assets will be released with their respective kind," Wu replied impassively, taking Bumpy from Ben. "Then they will be their problems, just as you will all cease to be my problem."

"Well that's rude," Darius declared. "The rest of us weren't doing anything!"

"Let's go kids," Dave said to the campers. "We're not welcome anymore."

Darius sighed and then he and Ben reluctantly put the two infant reptiles back in where the other eggs were held.

"May you live a long life, Toro. I hope that we will meet again." Darius said to the baby Carnotaurs before walking away as Ben did the same to Bumpy.

The two teens could hear the young reptiles calling out after them and they give the two infants one last look before the doors closed in front of them.
