AUTHOR’S POV:

With times things were settling on one hand Mansi and Reshma were starting to get soft to Vaedehi, Mohini was having a tough time seeing her as her favourite son’s wife maybe because like Jeevika she was not her choice maybe her ego couldn’t take the fact that her son choose someone else over her choice.

But nevertheless Raghav and Vaedehi’s friendship as they called it was blooming while Raman and Jeevika’s unsaid tension was quite evident inspite of their attempts to hide it.

Though she didn’t give up on her attempts she has made sure not to spare him even a glance. Leaving the room before he wakes to sleeping empty stomach waiting for him to return, she still makes sure all his belongings are at it’s place, she even plugs his laptop when sleeps working and covers him in blanket after making him lay properly which she doubts is happening everyday…………

JEEVIKA’S POV:

Turning on the sofa as I faced him a small sigh left my lips shooking my head I walked towards him “Kyu Raman ji aaj kal aap kuch jyada hi baethe baethe nahi so rahe hai!” she mumbled half in sleep closing his laptop and keeping it on a side as she hovered over him to make him lay as usual.

But a tug at her wrist caught her attention she was startled as he opened his eyes turning their positions hovering over her as she lay on the bed “Ra….Raman ji…..” “Shhh…….” He cut her keeping a finger on her lips their proximity made her shiver “You are ignoring me?” he asks hoarsely.

“Answer me Jeevika!” he groans bending more onto her “Raman ji atleast humein dekhe to aese humpe cadhe hai humari haddi waddi tut gai to??” she mumbles but is shocked when inspite of his attempt to not he ends up chuckling as a smile forms on his lips.

Her gaze gets frozen with adoration for his exclusive smile. He wave his hand in front of her breaking her thoughts “I know I am sexy but don’t ogle like that Jeevika….it’s bad manners!” he smirk but she shook her head in denial “You mean I am not?” he question in disbelief.

“I didn’t say that I mean aap ho but your smile!! It’s as pretty as sunshine in a winter morning or saturn’s ring!” she reply “You mean I am sexy right!” she turn her head away making him smirk.

“Sharma gai?? Accha leave it I won’t tease you but sunshine in winter morning and saturn’s ring aren’t too very different comparisons?” he asked sitting straight she exhaled sharply sitting beside him.

“They both are my favourite…….uhhh…..I…..I mean sunshine in winter morning is exclusive just like your smile!” he hid his smile at her antics giving her an understading nod.

“What about saturn’s ring?” he asked as she moved back to her sofa “Once I read on internet that the sun proposed the moon and if moon would have said a 'yes' sun would have burst with happiness and if it would have denied sun would have itself fallen into darkness so the moon asked some time to reply and till the day Saturn holds the ring!”

“So the ring Saturn have is said to be the proposal ring of sun?” he asked she nodded silently “A representation of sun’s faith and moon’s sacrifice………and I think it is one of the prettiest thing I have ever read!”

“So you mean my smile is the prettiest?” he raise his eyebrows she shook her head in a no “Maybe a symbol of someone’s faith and sacrifice!” she whispered he looked at her questioningly but before he could ask she muttered a good night turning her face away from him.

He looked at her figure with a feeling which was anything but his……guilt! And regret!.......No matter what he did guilt and regret were never an option for him but looking at her all he had was guilt for hurting her and regret for marrying her.
