I Laid In The Hospital Bed , Struggling Trying To Open My Eyes Or Even Move My Limbs But I Couldn't .

I Heard Footsteps Nearing The Room Then An Unfamiliar Deep Voice Speak ,

" Ms. Mackenzie King Is In A Comatose State . A Comatose Person Exhibits A Absence Of Wakefulness And Is Unable To Consciously Feel, Speak, Or Move. The First Thing We Did Was Place The Patient In An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Immediately Upon Arrival We Had To Stabilize And Maintain Her Heart Rate And Breathing . On The Glaslow Coma Scale 3 Being The Worst And 15 The Best She Is At A Solid 4 , Which Is Completely Normal Considering She Just Arrived Hours Ago . Our Nurses Are Intensely Watching Ms. King 24/7 Because She Is Pregnant . It Is Likely She Will Fully Recover But It Will Happen Over A Period Of Time Ranging From Weeks , To Months , To Years With A Slight Chance Of Her Not Making It At All . Although She Can't Respond She Can Clearly Hear If Anyone Would Like To Talk To Her , Her Room Is Right There . " 

I Heard A Bunch Of Footsteps , I Don't Even Know How Many People In Here . The First Voice I Recognized Was Ashlin's . She Was Screaming nd Hollering Like She Was Catching The Holy Ghost . 

I Was Trying Harder Than Ever To Move , I Felt Hopeless . My Whole Body Was Stiff nd Paralyzed Except My Eyebrows . I Could Wiggle Them Up nd Down A Little bt It Took Alot Of Energy That I Didn't Have .

The Doctors Words Echoed Through My Head , " From Weeks , To Months , To Years With A Slight Chance Of Her Not Making It At All " Reality Hit Hard , I Could Be Here For Years . I Might Not Make It Out To See My Babies , I Could Die In This Damn Hospital .
