"Alright, kid. Usually you should be running or screaming by now, so what is your deal? Are you just genuinely curious or-"

Before I could finish he poked a finger through my chest, it was like poking water, it went straight through. The expression on the boy's face gave me an answer.

"Curious it is then.." I mumbled.

"I don't understand." The boy finally said, "this can't be possible, aren't you supposed to be...dead?"

My eyebrows raised slightly, it was such a rare thing for someone to say that sentence with as much calmness as he did.

"Um, yes.." I shoo his finger away. "But your childhood frights are real, Ghost's exist. And believe me..you aren't the only one that is curious as to why you can see me."

JISUNG'S P.O.V

I swallowed, the chills going down my spine didn't seem to stop and it caused a small noise to escape my lips. I could see him arche his brow as I did so.

"So, you...this...your.."

He chuckled. "Still processing, huh?" His smell filled my nose, and for him being dead he didn't smell like...death. Instead he smelled like a rare fragrance that humans like me would go feral over, but I was too shocked to do so.

"H-How can I not? Your...Your.."

"Dead." He finished my sentence.

"Y-Yeah.."

"And..you're not running?" I could practically taste the confusion in his tone.

"I'm asking myself the same question, it's just.." I poke my finger through his chest again, "you know, your..dead."

"Kid, I think we've clearly established that."

I take a sharp inhale of breath at his tone, I didn't realize it before but his voice was kind of rough but also smooth. It was like...silk and sandpaper on my skin.

"Yeah, I'm...I'm gonna go back home and rest, and when I wake up tomorrow this will be a dream." I said with a smile of confidence.

"Wow, your really in denial aren't you?" I could hear the amused tone.

But I didn't even bother to answer, I turn around and march right out of the forest and off the bridge, going home. I was prepared to know this was nothing but a dream.

Just a dream.

It's only a dream.

Just a damn dream.
