Sommer Peterson was well known, not really friends with anyone but everyone knew her.
She wore loose and flowy clothes, silver jewelry were always her go-to accessories. Soft music always blared through her headphones as she walked.
"Hey Sommer." Some people said, the girl smiling softly with a wave. "Hi." Sommer said in a soft tone.
Hunter Sylvester on the other hand, he rarely paid attention to anything outside of his own two feet, but Sommer always caught his eye whenever she walked by.
'The Mamas and the Papas' blared through her earbuds as she walked over to her locker. "Hey." Hunter says as Sommer took out her earbuds, the girl smiling softly at him.
"Hey." She says as she grabbed her notebooks from her locker. Hunter observed the decor she hung up. Lyrics to music, magazine clippings, but one caught his attention.
"You sing?" He questioned, Sommer nodding with pride. "My favorite past time." She says as the bell rang. "See you around." She says, putting her earbuds in.
Hunter watched as she walked away, her converse clicking against the linoleum, her white skirt flowing as she walked, her white blouse matched practically everything about her.
Kevin Schlieb enjoyed Sommer's company in their history class. She always had something educational to say, and talking to her was a stark difference to talking to Hunter.
"Hey Kevin." Sommer says softly as she sits in her seat next to the boy. "Hey Sommer." He says as the class started.
"Oh, um Sommer?" Kevin questioned as the bell rang, Sommer turning with a brow raised. "Yeah?" She questioned with a soft smile.
"You wanna come to Clay's party tonight? He said everyone's invited." Kevin says, Sommer nodding.
"I'll come, here, just give me your number and text me the address." Sommer says, handing the boy her phone.
Kevin put his number in as they walked out into the halls, Hunter waiting on his friend. "Here." Kevin says, handing her back her phone.
"Thanks, I'll see you tonight." She says as she grinned at Kevin, sending a soft smile to Hunter as she walked away.
"Holy shit, you have her number?" Hunter questioned, his eyes wide. Kevin's phone went off causing the boy to check.
'Hey it's Sommer, just send me the address whenever you can :)'
Hunter shook his head as he wrapped an arm around Kevin's shoulders. "Maybe this party won't be so bad." The boy says.
As lunch rolled around, Sommer walked around with her bag on her back, and an apple in her hand.
"Can I sit here?" Sommer questioned a girl with brown curly hair. "Oh, sure." The girl says, a small smile on her face, but awkward nonetheless.
"I'm Sommer." Sommer say as she holds her hand out, Emily grasping it. "Emily." Emily says which made Sommer grin.
