The next day at school, Sommer wore a 'Sue Wong' dress with brown platform boots. Her hair was put up in a claw clip as she walked down the halls.

"Hey." Hunter called as he walked out of the library, Sommer turning around to face him. "Hey." The girl says with a smile, a genuine one that was just too contagious.

"Can you paint?" Hunter questioned, Sommer shrugging. "Depends on what it is." She says.

That was how she ended up in Hunter's basement after school, both boys sitting around while the girl painted the drum-set.

"Skullfucker?" Sommer questioned as she turned to the boys. She was changed from her usual attire, now wearing a 'Fleetwood Mac' t-shirt and sweatpants, her brown hair tied up.

"Our band, metal right?" Hunter questioned, Sommer nodding as she stood up. "Totally, um I'm just gonna let that dry and then I'll spray it with varnish." Sommer says as she stretches.

"Sounds good." "Thanks Sommer." Hunter and Kevin say at the same time. Once she had sprayed the drums, the girl was packing her art supplies.

Kevin had already left, which left both Sommer and Hunter in his room. "Do you play?" Hunter questioned, the girl turning around to face him.

"My uh, my brother taught me some things." Sommer says with a slight shrug, Hunter holding out his guitar as some sort of offering.

Sommer took it as she sighed, remembering the song her brother taught her.

Hunter watched as Sommer played 'Phantom Lord' her tongue poked out in concentration, eventually stopping with a small smile.

"That's all I remember." She says as she handed back the guitar. "Phantom Lord? Didn't peg you for a metal fan." Hunter says, Sommer shrugging.

"I'd like to think I'm open minded about these things." Sommer says as she smiled softly. "Cool." Hunter says as Sommer handed him back his guitar.

Sommer then received a text, the girl sitting up straighter. "I gotta go, I'll see you at school, yeah?" She questioned as she stood up, grabbing her bag.

"Yeah, totally." Hunter says as Sommer sent him one last smile, then leaving his room and the Sylvester home completely.

If you asked Hunter Sylvester when he first liked the Peterson girl, he could tell you his rendition of the first day of 5th grade.

Skip per usual was fucking around with him, but it was Sommer's first day at a new school and she hated bullies.

The girl had grabbed a chunk of his blonde hair, cutting it which made the boy squeal. Sommer laughed along with the rest of the class, unfortunately resulting in a weeks worth of ISS, totally worth it though.

But if you really asked him, he would tell you it all started a month ago at Kendall's party. He knew he had feelings for the light hearted girl, but seeing her completely let loose on stage left him awestruck.

The girl sang her version of 'Sawed off Shotgun' a drunk smile on her face as she sang about fucked up issues, he couldn't possibly take his eyes off her when she looked so happy.

Sommer had called Emily over, the two girls hanging out while her CD of Fleetwood Mac softly echoed around her room.

Sommer was absolutely bound and determined to become friends with this girl, she seemed really nice, even if she did absolutely curse out the band teacher.
