TRIGGERS:
1. **Misunderstandings and Miscommunications:** The initial trigger arises from misinterpretations and misunderstandings, such as the misperception of your actions as spamming and the ensuing conflict over how you were addressing the situation politely.
2. **Feelings of Rejection and Isolation:** The escalation of the conflict leads to feelings of rejection and isolation, as evidenced by the perceived lack of validation for your feelings, being ignored by your friends, and the belief that you are seen as annoying and worthless.
3. **Emotional Reactions and Self-Worth:** Your emotional reaction to the situation reflects underlying feelings of low self-worth, frustration, and a sense of not being valued or cared for by your friends, which contributes to the intensification of the conflict.
4. **Friendship Dynamics and Peer Pressure:** The dynamics within your friendship group, including peer pressure, loyalty shifts, and perceived social status, play a role in how the conflict unfolds and impacts your relationships with P and C.
5. **Comparisons and Emotional Responses:** The trigger of comparing each other's problems and experiences leads to heightened emotional responses, misunderstandings, and potentially hurtful exchanges that further strain the friendships and create tensions.6. **Perception of Friendships and Support:** The differing perceptions of friendships, support systems, and individual struggles contribute to conflicts and misunderstandings, highlighting the importance of empathy, communication, and validation in maintaining healthy relationships.
This girl has been with me since kindergarten, so it's really sad on what's happened to our friendship...
My best friend, we're gonna call her by her initial: PSo P and I have known each other since kindergarten, she left in term one last year to another school, I stayed in touch with her and all was going well, until a few weeks ago.My friend was spamming on the ground chat and I politely asked her: "can you please not spam?"And my friend, C, started to say: "you son with your videos!" One, that's not spamming, I just send it once and leave, and no one even replies to my videos anyways so I'm always ignored on the ground chat, but I just shrug it off and try to push it to the side, that's when P started to take her side, saying I was annoying and that C was doing nothing and I should back off, I just say: "look, P, I'm not trying to be rude to her, I'm just trying to ask her POLITELY to stop spamming!"And then when I try explaining to them about these things, they start ignoring me, I say: "are you ignoring me?" And they say yes.So I tell P and C: "I understand I'm annoying and worthless, I'm just a toy to you display, I know people don't care about my feelings and never ask me if I'm okay because I know they don't care, so good job, you just lost a friend!" I leave that group chat and block BOTH of them, I never want to talk to P again, the next day I'm with my friend I, I tells me that once I left the group chat, they changed the group chat to the calm group chat, I get made at this and comfort C about it.At break, I was talking to C about it and she says: "I HAVE NO FRIENDS! I AHVE NO FRIENDS IN MY CLASS AND I SIT WITH NO ONE!"One, she always sits with me and put other friends for lunch, two, she DOES have friends in her class, I have no friends in mine, and no one even likes me in my class! And she says she has the biggest problems, so I state ever other problem there could be that SHE doesn't have, and she just stares at me with shock, she stands up and leaves the group. Me and C are still friends but me and P aren't.
And that's another story!
Bye!
