Akshit pov:

"What's wrong, sunshine? Why are you sitting there? We're running late for breakfast, baby," I said, approaching my wife, who was sitting in front of the mirror, looking anxious.

"It's just that I'm nervous," she replied, her finger pointing at my chest. "You're going to tell them I'm pregnant."

I chuckled and gently pressed a soft kiss on her fingers. "We're pregnant, jaan," I said, using the affectionate term.

She smiled, nodding her head, and stood up as I pressed a kiss on her forehead, followed by a gentle kiss on her stomach.

"Chalein?" I asked, holding her hands, to which she nodded, and we stepped out of the room.
("Let's go?")

"Akshit, unhe pata chal jaega," she muttered, biting her lips. ("Akshit, they will find out.")

"Kya pata chal jaega?" I asked, frowning. ("What will they know?")

"Yahi ki we had sex," she answered with a sigh. ("This, that we've had sex.")

"Toh?" I raised my brow, clearly confused. ("So?")

"What toh? It's embarrassing," she said, rolling her eyes.

"Oh, baby! It's not! It's a natural process. You know we're here because of that," I explained, to which she playfully hit my shoulder.

"Are maar kyu rhi ho?" I asked, rubbing my arm. ("Why are you hitting me?")

"Bhot tej marti ho tum yaar!" I added, teasingly. ("You hit so hard!")

"Meri marzi! Mein to marungi! Any problem?" she asked, with a playful glare, to which I gulped and shook my head, indicating no.

("My wish! I'll hit if I want to. Any problem?")

Just then, Harshit intervened, "You guys come fast, we've been waiting for so long. I'm starving, yaar!" he said dramatically, making me roll my eyes.

I pulled out a chair for Avanya and made her sit, then took my chair and sat beside her, cozying up to her.

"Good morning, everyone!" I wished, and they all greeted me back.

"We want to tell you something," I said, clearing my throat, and instantly, every head at the table turned towards me. I gulped, feeling nervous.

"Aise kyu dekh rhe ho sab? " I asked, glancing around at them.
(Why are you all looking at me like that?)

"Abey toh kese dekhein? " Avinash bhaiya laughed.
(How else should we look?)

"Mera matlb vo.. I.. She.." I stuttered not knowing why I'm feeling nervous.

Avanya pov:

This man!

Mujhe to bada bol rhe the ki don't be nervous. Ab kya hogya?
(He was telling me to calm down and not be nervous, and now look at him!)

Saanp das gya kya?

"Kya beta I vo me he she? Kya bol rhe ho? " Mumma asked, looking confused and frustrated.
(What beta i he she? What are you saying?)
("What beta, he, she? What are you saying?")

Just then, Akshit took a deep breath, smiled at me, and said, "Mausam acha hai."
(The weather is good.)

I facepalmed, exasperated by the sudden change in topic.

"Tune sharab kab se peene start kr di akshit? Sharab sehat ke lie hanikarak hoti hai, tujhe pata hai is se lungs mein problem hoti hai! Ghar mein doctor hai jo logon ko sharab pene se rokta hai aur ye janab jo mere bhai hain ye sharab peete hain! " Harshit bhaiya exclaimed, glaring at Akshit, who looked perplexed by the accusation.
(Since when did you start drinking, Akshit? You know alcohol is harmful to your health, right? It can cause lung problems! We have a doctor in the house who advises people against drinking, and yet, my own brother is indulging in it!" )
