Avanya pov:

As we sat in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting our appointment, my heart raced like I was running a marathon.

I couldn't help but chant silent prayers to God, pleading for our happiness.

Akshit's gentle voice and reassuring squeeze on my hand calmed my nerves. "Relax, everything will be fine, I'm with you," he whispered.

I confessed my jumbled emotions, "I'm just so nervous, excited, and afraid all at once."

Akshit's response was a warm hug, his hands rubbing soothing circles on my back. "I understand, baby," he murmured. "Even amidst nervousness, my heart keeps telling me that we're pregnant."

His gentle words were accompanied by tender caresses on my hair, filling me with comfort and reassurance.

I nodded, and we entered the examination room when our names were called. The doctor greeted me with a warm smile. "Mrs. Rathore, please lie down here, and we'll proceed with the ultrasound to confirm your symptoms." I nodded, my heart racing with anticipation, and settled onto the bed.

Akshit stood by my side, his hand enveloping mine in a reassuring grasp, offering the comfort I craved.

The doctor began the ultrasound, and after a few moments, a beaming smile spread across her face. "Congratulations, Mrs. Rathore! You're three weeks pregnant!"

Tears of joy welled up in my eyes, and one rolled down my cheek as I gazed at Akshit, his face mirroring my elation.

We shared a tender glance, our hands still clasped together, basking in the euphoria of this life-changing moment.

"I'm waiting in my cabin, please take your time" the doctor said with a warm smile, exiting the room and leaving us alone in our intimate moment of joy.

"Ak... Akshit, oh my god! We're really pregnant!" I whispered, wiping away tears and gazing at Akshit.

He pressed a tender kiss on my forehead, a tear rolling down his cheek as he smiled.

His hands gently cradled my belly, and he whispered, "Our baby."

I smiled, and we shared a heartfelt hug, both of us overcome with joyous tears. "I'm so happy, Sunshine. Thank you for this incredible news," Akshit murmured, his voice filled with emotion.

He pressed a long, sweet kiss on my lips, and I chuckled through my tears.

Then, he helped me to my feet, and hand in hand, we entered the doctor's cabin, ready to face this new chapter in our lives together.

"First of all, congratulations on this new phase of your life!" The doctor beamed with a gentle smile, and we smiled back, thanking her.

"Mrs. Rathore, please be extremely cautious during this first trimester, as it's a critical period. Any negligence may lead to unwanted complications," the doctor advised, her expression turning serious. "You must follow a proper diet, practice yoga, and avoid stress altogether. Your body is slightly weaker than usual, so it's crucial that you both prioritize your health. Mr. Rathore, this is especially important for you to remember. The coming months will be challenging, and you must be supportive. Be prepared for mood swings, fatigue, and other changes," the doctor explained, and we listened intently.

Akshit's eyes filled with concern as he asked, "Doctor, I promise to take care of her, but will her weakness cause any problems during or after labor?"

The doctor reassured us, "No, Mr. Rathore, this precaution is only necessary for the first trimester. After that, everything will be fine." We exhaled a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of comfort.
