Group one and two, now on their way to the Pillary Ruins and Yoyle City, were in the forest. Fries was leading the way for now, since Golfball didn't feel like walking at the moment and was sitting on top of Tennis Ball. Puffball looks over at Fries who is looking at the map and a sudden realization hits her. She then decides to ask Fries something that could make everyone mad.
Puffball: Hey Fries, can you hold that map up so I can see it real quick?
Fries: oh yeah, sure I guess...
Puffball looks at the map Fries was holding up her worries now confirmed. He had been holding it upside down the whole time.
Puffball: Fries...
Fries: what?
Puffball: YOU'VE BEEN HOLDING IT UPSIDE DOWN THIS WHOLE TIME.
Fries: WHAT. WHAT THE ACTUAL TATER.
Puffball: how long will it take us to get there now?
Fries: I'd say probably just an extra hour...we haven't been walking for very long...
Puffball: at least it wasn't longer...
Fries: yeah...
Gelatin, who had been listening the whole time, was now trying to hold back a laugh. Knowing that his mischievous plan had worked...somehow he had thought that it wouldn't work no matter what. Donut gave him a suspicious look. Gelatin knew that Donut, at this point, knew he was the one who did it. He was honestly pretty surprised that Donut hadn't told anyone about his silly little prank. They locked their gazes on each other for a second before quickly looking away.
Donut then walked over to Fries and Puffball.
Gelatin thought: this is the end for me. Goodbye cruel world!
Donut then walked over to them and pointed at the map before saying. "Can't we just walk back the way we came? Plus we'd be able to say more goodbyes to people..."
Fries scoffed "I GUESSSS"
Puffball: ok Fries we get it you're mad. Maybe we should let Donut lead for now.
Donut: yeah! I can lead, at this point I should be used to it anyways... GELATIN COME HERE!
Donut's yelling for Gelatin took him by surprise. While walking over to Donut, Gelatin already knew what to expect he would say something like "Gelatin! Why would you do that! That was so rude!" Or "Why would you do that, Gelatin?! We have a big group with us! We have to be taking care of them! Not misleading them!"
Donut: Gelatin. You're lucky I didn't tell Fries that you were the one who sabotaged the map! I mean-I wouldn't have told either way but you can't keep doing these risky things! The whole group could get hurt! YOU-could get hurt! Sigh Just-no more funny business! Okay?
Gelatin, of course was a bit surprised to hear this from him but it somehow made him feel...bad? He couldn't quite explain it but he couldn't say no to Donut so he gave in. "Ok..."
Donut: thank you. And, don't worry. I won't tell anyone.
Gelatin let out a sigh of relief at knowing that he wouldn't be getting into trouble. "Thanks Nut"
Donut just gave him a nod and smile before continuing on with their journey, Gelatin occasionally making him laugh, starting a conversation, or just smiling at each other. To show they were there for each other.
They had almost arrived back to where they had come from before hearing something that would make them regret ever coming back in the first place.
They heard a scream. Not just any scream. A horrified scream, one of pain. Some of the group went immediately to where it had come from, while others stayed back, to stay safe while also making sure the younger contestants didn't get into trouble.
One of group one's members, Eraser, looked absolutely horrified and disgusted.
Eraser: WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE.
That had taken almost all of group one and two by surprise before they were quickly able to accept the fact that where they were now was no longer safe for anyone, especially the younger bunch of the contestants. And those they considered "parent figures" had to leave too or else the little ones wouldn't budge. Once all the younger contestants were out, it was time to finally investigate.

Well, this might've been another short chapter, I kinda forgot about this for a few days (or weeks I've been lazy as heck) Also 711 words not 1000. Better than last chapter I guess. I'll start on the next chapter now bye bye. (Also thanks for 100 reads :])
