The quadruplets, despite not actually being quadruplets, were some of the most special kids that Chan had ever met. It was actually a funny story about how they came to be 'quadruplets' and it was one that the four boys never tired of sharing with friends or complete strangers.

Of course they were five and they sometimes got the little details mixed up, like the time that Jisung told a complete stranger 'my appa got two women pregnant along with mommy!'

That was fun to try and explain. Not that Chan could exactly fault the kid for that. Jisung didn't know what surrogacy was. Chan and his, now ex, wife had first looked into surrogacy after Changbin was born. They'd had a lot of trouble having him and were eager to have more. It had not been Chan's idea to hire two but he went along with it as soon as his ex-wife said she wanted to have twins.

None of the two surrogates ended up having twins. But his ex-wife did! Felix and Jisung. One surrogate had Hyunjin a few weeks before them and the other had Seungmin a week after the twins.

And that was how Chan ended up as the father of quadruplets. Along with three other boys, Minho, Changbin and Jeongin. And it was...well, chaotic.

"Seungmin, please sit down. It's time to eat now" Chan looked over at the youngest five-year-old, trying to get Jeongin to keep his napkin on his lap.

"I want to play!" Seungmin argued.

"I know you do but it's time to eat now so you need to come sit down" Chan repeated, moving Changbin's hands off of Hyunjin without even looking over at them.

"I don't want to!" Seungmin whined, stomping his foot. Chan moved to get up and Seungmin let out a small shriek of terror, running to his seat between Minho and Felix. Chan sat back down, giving the kid a stern, warning stare. Seungmin avoided looking back at him.

"Alright, order what you want on the kid's menu, boys" Chan looked at the adult menu, quickly deciding what he wanted.

"Can I get the lobster and scallops?" Minho pointed under the adult section of the menu.

"Honey, that's not the kid's menu" Chan reminded him. Minho's face fell.

"I know" He responded. Chan was a little confused. Minho never had a problem ordering from the kid's menu, what was different now?

"Well, it might be too big of a portion for you" Chan tried to reason. Minho just rolled his eyes and folded his arms on the table, leaning forward.

"I'm not a baby, appa. I'm eight now" Minho pointed out.

"First off, drop the attitude. You may be older but your still a kid. The kid menu has the appropriate portions for you. You don't eat a lot, I just don't want you trying to overdo it when you get full" Chan explained.

"Appa...!" Minho whined lowly, his lower lip jutting out a little in a pout.

"Minhooo" Chan mimicked him, taking the menu from his oldest kid and flipping it around to the kid's menu.

"When can I order from the adult menu then?" Minho wondered, more dramatically than he needed to.

"When your big enough to eat their portions. Now what do you want from the kid's menu?" Chan waited, picking up Jeongin as he slipped out of his seat, and setting him back on the chair. Minho slammed the menu closed and pushed it away.

"Nothing! I'm not hungry anymore" Minho sulked, with a small huff.

"Minho, do we need to go take a trip to the restroom? Cause trust me, I do not want to have to get all your brothers to the restroom just because you don't know how to act in a restaurant" Chan warned. Minho rolled his eyes again, not moving.
