it had been a week since Tyler came over. Today was my birthday I was actually excited.
I woke up in the morning to my parents being at home, I gave my dad a big hug while he made pancakes
and smiled at my mom as she typed on her laptop.
"good morning stripes" my mom and dad say in unsion
I smile at them while eating a piping hot pancake from the pan.
I check my phone.

tyler: happy birthday nigga!! have the bestest day!
i smile at my phone at the text tyler sent me. I hearted tanya's and then tylers.
I was really happy , my gifts, my parents being home. i loved it.
I loved my birthday being on a national holiday. labour day or sum, I didnt care.
i rub my eyes before walking out the kitchen.
washing my face, I felt pretty today , I'm gonna skip most of my makeup, just some simple.
the kitchen was bursting with laughter and joy , I loved it.
my parents along with keyan come into my room. with three gifts.
I open my mom's gift with her card:
happy birthday mija!
it was a sequinned black dress, sleek and fitted.
I opened my dad's present second.
a new iPhone 8
my brows furrowed
"aye papi! too much!" I say in disbelief.
I kiss him on the cheek before I open keyans gift
a heart pendant with my name engraved in it.
my jaw dropped in shock.
"KEYAN! oh my gosh" I say scolding him for the amount he spent on me.
I give my family one big hug before they walk out.
"I think tylers popping in?" my dad says trying to tease me.
my face goes beetroot red.
he laughed before walking off.
I check my phone
Tyler : omw, w yo gift too
I look at my phone and smile. excitedly.
I hear the car pull up in the driveway, Tyler walks in and I jump onto him hugging him.
"it's my birthday!!!!!" I yell
"ikkklk" he says matching my energy
we walk into the kitchen and Tyler says hi to my parents.
I give him a side hug
"do you ever get tired of kei being so touchy?" keyan asks
"kei bae has always been like that keyan" my mom says
Tyler chuckles as he sees my family slandering me.
"I just like to hug people!" I say in defence
"nah, she gives great hugs" Tyler says laughing his ass off
"can she even reach you? man your built like a javalen n she built like a librarian" keyan wheezes
I flip keyan off still giving Tyler a side hug.
