Chapter IV

Pebblekit, Amberkit and Silentsea made their way back. Amberkit was bugging Silentsea with questions about Cinderblaze while Pebblekit Jumped around, chaising Butterflys. 

"Promise me something my dears, Do not mention this meeting to anyone in the clan. It could get us in trouble", silentsea mewed worried. 
"But why not?", Amberkit asked, "hes our Father."
"He may be your father but remember. Sparrowleap raised you. You should be calling him Your Father not that Cat." Silentsea mewed with a soft hiss hidden inside her soft voice.

"you have to understand that i want to protect you two. One day you will understand but for now. Keep it a secret." she paused, "Please" she pleaded.

Amberkit looked at her before nodded.
"Pebblekit, do you understand the danger? Do you understand why to keep it a secret?", she asked her other son. The Grey tom nodded before continueing to jump around.

Silentsea sighed before they Continued to Pad back to camp.
Once they entered the camp at Sunhigh, Silentsea send Pebblekit and Amberkit off to play while she went to Smokestar.

"You wont catch me! im to fast", Pebblekit mewed as he ran across the clearing while Amberkit chaised him around. Whenever one cought the other they swapped roles, rushing around and Jumping up and down.
Silentsea, after talking to Smokestar padded to her friend lightwhisker, they shared tongues and watched her kits play around. 

At around Sundown Smokestar Jumped onto the highrock, He raised his voices. Making it echo across the clearing. 

"May all cats old enough to swim and catch their own prey gather hear beneath the highrock for a clanmeeting!"

Soon after all cats gathered underneath the highrock, Silentsea sat in the middle infront of the giant sandstone, her kits, Amberkit and pebblekit sitting next to her. Their fur groomed and clean. Hazelrain had made her way to the meeting, laying infront of the nurcery with her kit Acornkit.

"Cats of Coveclan. We gather here today to announce the arrival of two new apprentices.", he mewed and looked down at Pebblekit and Amberkit. Amberkit was sitting still while Pebblekit barely was able to sit still.

"Amberkit. step forward.", Silentsea nudged her kit to go up. Amberkit stood up and Padded towards his leader.
"You have reached the age of six moons, so its time for you to become an apprentice." he paused.
"Amberkit, you will be apprenticed to Timberstrike. From this day on till you earn your Warrior name you will be Known as Amberpaw.", He yowled.

Timberstrike stepped forwards, he was a bit surprised but proud to become a mentor. Amberpaw turned to face him, then they touched noses and went to sattle down in the Half-circle.

"Amberpaw! Amberpaw!", the clancats called out. Smokestar waited for the clan to quiet down before speaking up once more.

"Pebblekit. Step up." he mewed. Pebblekit jumped up and jumped into the middle of the clearing.

"Pebblekit. You have reached the age of six moons, so its time for you to become an Apprentice." He looked over the cats in the clearing before continueing. "From this day on untill you recieve your warrior name you shall be knows an Pebblepaw." His eyes stopped on Stormrun before he continued to speak.

"Your Mentor will be Stormrun. May she pass down her knowledge down to you." he then faced Stormrun.

"stormrun. You are ready to take Pebblepaw are you apprentice. You have received excellent training from Ferretpelt and have shown yourself as Brave and Loyal. You will mentor Pebblepaw. I expect you to pass all your knowledge down to him."

Stormrun nodded and touched her nose to Pebblepaw who was, for once able to stand still. Then they went back to the circle and sat next to Amberpaw and Timberstrike.

"Pebblepaw! Pebblepaw!" their clansmates called out once more. After everything settled Smokestar dismissed the meeting.

Silentsea padded over to her kits, rubbing her face against theirs and licking their heads.
"Im so proud that my babys are apprentices now!", she purred.
Amberkit tryed to push his mother away. "Silentsea stop your embaressing me-"
but Silentsea didnt stop. She was just so proud and happy that her Kits would soon become Warriors.

Pebblepaw jumped around happylie, bursted of energy. "Can we train? can we can we?!", he jumped around the group of cats. Amberpaw rolled his eyes, he patiendly sat next to His mentor.

Stormrun padded over to pebblepaw, her tail moving a long his side and rested on his back.
"Calm down pebblepaw. Its late and you should rest. We will start at the first sunlight.", she spoke softly. Pebblepaw nodded quickly.

"You two get some rest now. the Apprentice den if over there pick a nest you two are the only ones in there till Acornkit becomes an apprentice.", Timberstrike purres before sending the two new Apprentices off to their Den. 

Silentsea rubbed her nose against Stormruns cheek. "Im so glad you two are Mentoring my Kits", she purred. Stormrun returned the gesture.

"im heading to sleep you two. see ya in the den", timberstrike mewed before padding off leaving the two Sisters alone.

"Lets also hurry to sleep.", stormrun mewed and she and Silentsea padded side by side towards their nests.
