The Four Clans // Moon and Sun

Chapter III

The sun began to shine through the Seeweed curtains of the nurcery and Pebblekit wasnt able to sit still, constandly jumping around his mother.

"Can we go? Can we go?", he kept on bugging her.

Amberkit rolled his eyes, "You really gotta relax. Silentsea said she will take us on a walk and that wont change. now settle." he growled before snuggling back into his mothers coat.

"I wanna go pleaseeeee", he pleaded.

Silentsea let out a sigh before getting up. "Alright Pebblekit. We grab some freshkill and ill tell Smokestar that im taking you two on a walk." she mewed before leaving the nurcery and padding towards the freshkill pile.

Amberkit and Pebblekit followed her quickly, Pebblekit jumped right in and picked out a Juicy mouse while his brother took a sparrow from the pile. they sat down and began to eat while Their mother went to speak with Smokestar.

The taste of the Mouse melted on Pebblekits tongue, taking big chunks out of it. When he was done he Ran around Amberkit who was still eating the sparrow.

Moments later Smokestar and Silentsea emerged from the Leaders den. 
"You three can take a walk, but be back before sunhigh ok?", Smokestar mewed.
Silentsea nodded and gestured her kits to follow her towards the camps exit, Pebblekit happily jumped after her alongside Amberkit.

They followed their mother passed the sunny rocks and towards the old shipwreck, Pebblekit noticed his mother slowing down, carefully sniffing the air. He looked at Amberkit, who followed their mothers example. 

"What are you two doi-", he started.
"Hush- be quiet Pebblekit-" Amberkit hissed while following their mother closer to the shipwreck. Pebblekit noticed that his mothers tail was high up in alert as she inched closer towards the ship. Then they jumped onto the old wood. 

"...He was here again-", Pebblekits mother muttered while she kept looking around.
"You two. stay close and dont jump around to much. Its fragile up here.", she mewed before she sat down, her eyes scanning the pineforest.

Amberkit followed his mothers gaze but was soon stopped by Pebblekit pouncing on him. 

"Comon Amberkit. Lets play. Your a Mythclan warrior and Im Coveclan. in a border fight!", he squeeked before crouching down ready to pounce. Amberkit crouched down to before jumping at his brother till they rolled around on the wood.

"Ahaha! stop your tickling me!", Pebblekit yelped as Amberkit was pawing at his stomach. 

"Its not surposed to tickled, Stormrun said its to defend, but in real battle we use our claws.", he mewed proudly. 

The two kits continued their playful fight, till Silentsea jumped up to her paws, something had cought her attention on the other side on the Border.

"Amberkit, Pebblekit. Stay close behind me.", she mewed before jumping down onto the sand, before padding towards the pine forest. 
Amberkit jumped off his brother and followed, Pebblekit hopped down, his tail high up in the air and followed his brother and mother.

The closer they got the more careful Silentsea was. Her ears peeked and her tail fluffed up to twice its size. "You two stay close behind me. Dont make a sound and stay low-", she whispered while continueing to step closer.

On the other side of the border Pebblekit smelled a new scent. One he had smelled on his mother a few sunrise ago. "Silentsea- whats this smell.",he asked. Silentsea lowered her head and whispered. "Thats Mythclan. I saw something and-" the rustling of leaves cut her off.

"Quiet-" she whispered and pinned her kits to the ground, while staying low herself.

"I could recognize this scent anywhere.", a mew was heard from behind the bushed and a redishbrown tom appeared. "Come out Silentsea. I know your there~"

Silentsea growled before going out of hidding, while gesturing her kits to stay down.

"What are you doing so close to the border Cinderblaze.", she asked, her ears pinned to her head.

"I could ask you the same thing m'lady.", he purred. "But to ease your mind im just hunting. See?", he bend down to pick up a juicy Squirrel.

"SQUIRREL!", Pebblekit squeeked and jumped up. Silentseas eyes widened in shock as he and his brother came out of hidding.

"Mother? Can we have some? Im starving", he mewed pleadingly.
But before Silentsea could say no, Cinderblaze stepped over the border to the kits and put the freshkill down.

"Go for it, my little ones.", he purred. Silentsea kept a close eye on him, her claws digging into the dirt. Amberkit and Pebblekit jumped at the prey, chewing down on it.

Silentsea sat down, while watching them, Cinderblaze decided to sit next to her.
When Pebblekit looked up, he saw him trying to talk to his mother. He peeked his ears to listen better.

"They have grown a lot since i last saw them.", he mewed.
"they are almost six Moons now and have you forgotten? Your not allowed to see them, nor even be in our territroy." she growled.

Cinderblaze rubbed his head against hers but she pulled away.
"Cmon you cant still be mad at me. I did it for our sake." he meowed, a soft hiss lingering within.
"You didnt only kill my friend, you exposed our secret to my clan, almost got me exlied and i lost my clanmates trust!" she whispered with a growl, "So why in starclans name shouldnt i be mad. I shouldnt even let you see them." 

"They are Mine as well as your kits Silentsea. I have every right to see them." he growled.
"Its to dangerous for them. And you know that.", she hissed.

"Whats to dangerous for us?", Amberkit asked while cleaning his paws.
Silentsea and Cinderblaze turned their heads. "Nothing darling. All good. He was just about to go anyways." she said, while turning to Cinderblaze.

"Wait! I want to know something first." Pebblekit squeeked. "Are you the tom we got in trouble for? Like the reason why we almost got exiled?"

Amberkit saw Silentseas eyes widen in shock. "Im sorry about that kit. I never ment to get your mother and you two in trouble.", Cinderblaze mewed.

"But yes. Im the tom they were talking about. Look at your brother and me, we look similar dont we?", he asked and Pebblekit nodded.

"Stop it Cinderblaze." Silentsea snarled, before getting up. "To make this Short. Kits. This is Cinderblaze, your-", she paused. It pained her to say it. Taking a deep breath she continued.

"Your Actual Father. But even if- Sparrowleap will you the only true one." she added, while glaring at Cinderblaze, who just snorted at the last remarc.

Before Pebblekit and Amberkit could speak, Silentsea jumped to her paws. "We are leaving. Cmon kits- say goodbye to Cinderblaze." she mewed

"Goodbye Cinderblaze," Amberkit mewed, "Bye Dad! Was nice getting to know you!" Pebblekit squeeked, before jumping off to follow his brother and mother.

"Goodbye my kits! Be polite and listen to your mother! Ill see you again someday!" he called after them, a loud purr rustled in his throat, before he went back to his territory.
