"Everyone, we need to go inside now!" Ianessa demanded. "You don't have to tell me twice." Atlas walked back into the house with a heightened pace. Carmilla looked back at the car and then the others. "What're we gonna do about our supplies?" Carmilla asked.

"If you wanna take as much as you can out of there, be my guest. But please be quick!" Ianessa rushed. "I'll help her!" Zakariyya exclaimed as Carmilla and him both rushed to the car. Everyone else ran inside the house as fast as they could.

They used all of their excessive strength to carry every single bag into the house in one go. Successfully, they made it into the house before even one of the zombies could make it past the car. They plopped the bags onto the house floor, and Ianessa slammed the door shut, locking it.

Zakariyya and Carmilla took a second to catch their breath. "That was close..." Carmilla uttered. Serenity looked at Exxe, who now sat on the arm of the couch. "Not close enough, apparently." Serenity added. Atlas sighed, "I'll go and get the silencer."

"N-no wait, I'm still useful-" "You know what I'm hearing from you right now? Bitching. That's all I hear coming out of your mouth when you speak." Serenity aimed the gun at his head once again.

"Speaking of what Atlas said about a silencer though, we really need to silence our very loud canine companion upstairs before the zombies start crowding this house like it's a 50 Cent concert." Zakariyya said.

Suddenly, a loud and hard bang hit the front door, breaking the crevices of glass on the corners. This startled the group as they witnessed a dent in the metal door. "Uhh... we're not seeing things right-?" Atlas asked the group.

Then another bang made a dent, then another, and then another. "No you are not seeing things! Everybody, upstairs now!" Ianessa demanded, aiming her shotgun at the entrance. Everybody ran upstairs, with some taking a bag of supplies just in case. All except for Zakariyya.

"Wait for me, I'll be right back!" Zakariyya opened the door to the basement. "You better hurry up Zak-" Serenity tried to warn him, but the door had already flung out of it place, fully worn out by one of many zombies gathered at the house's front.

"Shit. Zakariyya hurry!!" Ianessa yelled as she opened fire. Zakariyya heeded her words and wasted no time. He went down and grabbed an empty duffel bag, filled it with papers and tech mechanisms and samples, and ran back up to the first floor.

"Come on, let's go!" Zakariyya grabbed one of the duffel bags on the ground the others had left behind in a panic. Ianessa reloaded her shotgun, and ran up the stairs with him. Once they made it up, Serenity was in their sight of view freeing Snowball from inside her room.

"Okay, everyone remembers our weekly escape drill right?" Ianessa asked. Everyone nodded and said their yeahs in more or less unison. "Alright. Hurry up and grab whatever you can that belongs to you. We're getting out of here." Ianessa gritted.

Everyone catered to her words and immediately went their own ways. Atlas took Snowball from Serenity and carried her to the attic. Serenity meanwhile walked towards the stairs and started firing at the zombies that tried to climb up the stairs.

For a few minutes, almost everybody else was busy getting their things before meeting up at the ladder again. Zakariyya had a few books, Ianessa took a small-branded purse, Exxe told his kids to get up the ladder, and Serenity just shot her last bullet after killing and shooting a few dozen zombies on the stairs.

Therefore taking another box full of bullets out of her room to meet up with her friends. But, they still waited for one more to show up. Carmilla. She was running out of her room with two bags full of medicine and science materials, and a thin book and pen at her chest labeled: diary. "I'm so sorry guys, I-I'm ready to go now!" Carmilla apologized.

"Don't sweat it. Let's go everyone, follow me!" Ianessa exclaimed as she went up the ladder. After her, Zakariyya was next to up the ladder. Unfortunately for him, he looked back to see that the zombies were closing in on them.

"Shit shit shit!! We don't have enough time to save everyone!" Zakariyya panicked as he went up the ladder. "Well then, it wouldn't hurt to make time now would it?" Serenity uttered.

Before Exxe could land another foot onto the ladder, Serenity grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and shoved him towards the horde. In a horrible calamity of fresh blood, chomping, and screams, Exxe was sacrificed to the horde by Serenity's hands.

Carmilla just stood there in horror and disgust, trying her best to keep her dinner from leaving her stomach. Illumin reached out and cried in despair as he watched it all. Magenta's response was silence... traumatizing silence.

"Okay, gimme your things Carmilla. This should be more than enough time to cut a long trip short." Serenity ushered. "O-oh! U-uhm-um okay..!" Carmilla tried to keep herself together. She gave her things to Serenity, and she launched them up into the attic.

"Alright. Follow my lead, and climb as fast as you can!" Serenity asserted. She climbed up to the attic as fast as she could, and then it was Carmilla's turn. Until suddenly... a zombie bit at her ankle.

Carmilla yelped in pain as she tried to tug her foot away from the undead tearing at her flesh. Then with a loud BANG, Zakariyya shot the zombie off of her. With adrenaline rushing throughout her body, Carmilla climbed into the attic and slammed the door behind her shut.

"Alright good, everyone's here. Quick, into the slide now!" Ianessa pointed at two blue holes in the wall. From the attic, the slides lead all the way down to the edge of the backyard, near the flower beds. One by one, each of them slid down the slide, with Atlas holding the dog.

After three minutes passing, the group finally made it out of there in the nick of time. They each took a moment to catch their breaths. "Damnit man... that was even more too close for comfort." Zakariyya said, hoping to lighten the situation.

His attempt didn't work. Illumin looked down at Carmilla's ankle, pointing at after having wiped away his tears. "You're bit..." Illumin muttered. A look of horror and disbelief took place on his face. Slowly, everyone looked down at where she was bitten except for Zakariyya.

He hoped not to believe it himself. Nobody wanted to honestly. Carmilla... had been bit.
