Ms. Samantha left the room, her efficient stride taking her away to discuss the necessary details with my staff and her team. Her departure left Nandini and me alone, a scenario I'd been yearning for since I first laid eyes on her. My Little Swan and I, with no interruptions.
Nandini seemed slightly apprehensive, but also curious. "Can I see your book collection?" she asked, her voice soft but steady.
I nodded, watching her closely as she moved towards the secret bookshelf. Her fingers traced the spines of her books, her eyes alight with wonder at how meticulously they were organized by the time of release. I followed her, closing the distance until I stood just behind her, Little close enough to feel her warmth.
"Are you ready to enter my world?" I asked, my voice a low murmur, filled with a possessive edge. I saw her swallow hard, her nervousness evident. Yet, to my surprise and delight, she didn't step away or show discomfort. Instead, she turned around to face me, her eyes meeting mine with a mix of courage and curiosity.
"Mr. Singhania," she began, her voice tinged with a hint of playful challenge, "would you mind if I say you are my fan?"
I couldn't help but chuckle, a deep sound that seemed to resonate through the room. Hearing my laughter, she seemed to grow a bit more nervous, but it was the kind of nervousness that spoke of excitement rather than fear. I loved the effect I had on her, watching her carefully to ensure she was at ease.
I leaned in slightly, my voice dropping to a near whisper. "Yes, ma'am, I'm a big fan of yours."
Her cheeks turned a deep shade of red, like a ripe tomato. The blush spread across her face, making her look even more enchanting. I could see the mixture of embarrassment and pleasure in her eyes, a combination that made my possessiveness flare even more intensely. She was adorable, and the fact that I could make her blush so easily only added to my satisfaction.
A sense of triumph washed over me. She was agreeing to step into my world, to be a part of my life, even if she didn't fully realize the extent of it yet. I would ensure she never regretted this decision. My Little Swan was finally here , and I would protect her and cherish her .
As she turned back to the bookshelf, I stayed close, reveling in the knowledge that she was here, in my world, and soon, she would come to see just how much she belonged in it.
We stood against my full-view glass wall, the cityscape sprawling beneath us. She gazed out in pure admiration, but my focus was solely on her.
"Do you like the view?" I asked.
She nodded excitedly, and I couldn't help but smirk. "You'll be watching this every day," I told her. She turned to me, a questioning look in her eyes.
"For the duration of our company contract, you'll be with me," I continued, stepping closer. "You'll watch me closely. Wherever I go, whatever I say, whatever I do. Observe me and write your point of view on the rumors."
