I can't believe I actually agreed to this. We will be working together for six months. I initially thought one month would be enough, but his words made us understand and accept his proposal. No wonder he controls the business world so effortlessly, sitting on the throne of YS International. I've heard those rumors too, but they were always too absurd to believe. People said he was a ghost, a wizard, or something who dabbles in black magic.
Thinking about him, he indeed has that enigmatic aura. His grey hair and red eyes-maybe they are just lenses. After all, he is the most handsome businessman in the industry, and no one can beat him in business. His way of working is rare, unique, and some even say dark and ruthless.
I remembered how he came a little closer during our meeting, and a shiver ran down my spine. But strangely, his presence wasn't uncomfortable. He was intimidating, yet he spoke nicely and asked about my opinions too. When I was checking my books on his secret shelf, he came closer but maintained a respectful distance. It wasn't uncomfortable, but why did I blush? He was just so handsome with that chiseled jaw and that neck-wait, what am I thinking? We just met, and I shouldn't be thinking like that.
Everyone at the company was buzzing with excitement about the collaboration. Samantha and her team were ecstatic. I sat in the passenger seat, replaying our meeting in my mind. I wondered why he wanted six months. Wouldn't he feel uncomfortable and irritated with someone constantly observing and judging him? What's his benefit in this? He could easily ignore these absurd rumors.
Soon, we reached the company, and I didn't even notice until we pulled up. As I stepped out of the car, my phone rang. It was Nitu. She didn't even let me speak before she started gushing about how my meeting with the most handsome devil went.
"So, how did it go with the devilishly handsome Mr. Singhania?" she squealed with excitement.
I couldn't help but chuckle. "Nitu, calm down. It was just a professional meeting."
"Just a professional meeting? Girl, you met the most eligible bachelor in the business world! Did he look as dreamy in person as he does in the magazines?"
I laughed. "Yes, he's very good-looking. But that's not the point. We're going to be working together for six months, and it's strictly professional."
"Sure, sure. Professional," she teased. "But did he look at you in that intense way, like he's undressing you with his eyes?"
"Nitu!" I exclaimed, feeling my cheeks heat up. "It wasn't like that. He's intimidating but respectful."
"Intimidating, respectful, and drop-dead gorgeous. Sounds like the perfect combination to me," she giggled. "I'm just saying, you never know what might happen. Maybe you'll end up falling for him."
"Nitu, you're crazy," I said, shaking my head. "But thanks for making me laugh."
"Anytime, bestie. Just keep me updated, okay? I want all the juicy details."
