N'Man, we'd like to have a word with you...alone" Mae said.
Mile raised his eyebrows,he didn't know what else his parents were plotting.
"You can say it with us here" Mile said.
"It's fine, I will be fine. Just go take Shea to the courtyard or something" Man said.
"Just come P', you know you can't win against Mae and Por" Shea said,rolling her eyes and taking Mile away against his will.
"Now, down to business. There is something we need to discuss with you" Por said sternly.
Man was kind of nervous, maybe they changed their mind and want him and Mile to break up or bribe him to just disappear and leave Mile alone.
"What is it Mae, Por?"Man asked,nervously. Both parent just chuckled.
"Relax N'Man, it is nothing bad" Por said.
"You guys aren't going to tell me to break up with Mile,are you?"Man asked.
" Heavens,no! Why would you think that?"Mae asked.
"I just.."Man trailed off, Mae went and sat down next to him.
"You must have had a bad experience then? Rest assured,it's nothing like that. Why would we even suggest that when you are the source of my son's happiness"Mae said.
"Mae and I have discussed that since Mile has decided not to take over the business, we have to find someone we can trust to take over" Por said.
"I see, but what does that have anything to do with me. If I may ask" Man replied.
"Shea is not interested in our business, we were wondering if you'd like to train under me. But no pressure, please just think about it" Por continued.
"I don't know what to say, I mean you just have met me" Man said.
"Yes, we just met but so far you seem like a responsible and trustworthy person. You don't have to give us an answer now,just think it over and if you end up not choosing it then it's not a problem"Por said.
"I will think about it Mae,Por"Man said.
"Well, that's it. You worried too much"Mae said.
"I guess I did. Thank you for welcoming me in your family, it will take me a bit to adjust since my ex's family weren't as welcoming" Man said.
"You mean Ten Tosatid's family,right?"Mae asked.
"How did you know,Mae?"Man asked.
"I have my ways,now it all makes sense"Mae replied.
"What makes sense dear?"Por asked.
"I will tell you later"Mae told Por.
"I see. Well N'Man, just think it over and let us know what you decide"Por said.
"I will. Thank you for thinking about me"Man said.
Man excused himself and started heading over to where Shea and Mile were, while Mae and Por continued to talk.
"So tell me,what did you mean about earlier?"Por asked.
"Man's ex is your business partner's son. I think if Man will take over for you, your partner might give him a hard time"Mae said.
"I guess that's a possibility" Por sighed.
"Don't worry my dear, when the time arises I have a plan. Only if N'Man decides to accept your proposal"Mae said.
