20. Future

After a month, everything was back to "normal" as normal could be.

Jungkook is in the nursery, baby Eunji holding his finger in her hand.

Taehyung enters with a smile.

"Hi, darling. How are the babies?" Taehyung says. He has been in such a good mood ever since Jungkook got better from having the babies, and that the babies were born healthy.

"Wonderful." Jungkook says in awe as Eunji looks up at him with her coffee eyes.

"I have to start getting back to work but there isn't much backed up, since Gyeom is gone." Taehyung says, coming close to Jungkook. They both peek inside the crib, Eunji kicking her feet. Taehyung looks over and sees the second crib. He walks over and holds a finger out like how Jungkook is for Eunji, and Jiwon opens his eyes and grabs Taehyung's finger, chewing on it.

Taehyung can't help but chuckle at the feeling of a baby gumming his finger.

"It's silly, isn't it?" Jungkook says, laughing with him.

"Jungkook.. I want to step away from the mafia. Have a normal life. Jeongin says nothing is going on with the rivals, that we are safe. What do you say?" Taehyung asks Jungkook. He looks up, and their eyes connect.

"Okay."

Taehyung takes out his book, The Tiger and The Rabbit: A Chase of Precision, and starts reading to his babies.

"The world is full of molecular beings. If anything, could we be something?" Taehyung starts.

And with that, the mafia was on hault. They had completed their mission earlier by eliminating the rival gang's leader, and now Taehyung has the family he had always wanted. Jungkook was able to write to his parents, and tell them his fanily life.

The two read to their children every night. They love them and each other very much.
