Chapter 2: You are NOT the father

June 8, 2024..
Kirby's POV:
"I FINALLY GOT OUTTA THAT PRISON!!" I exclaimed to myself in joy and excitement as I got Ray to catch a bet with those drug addict kids he sells to. "THANKS RAYYY" I said as I ran out of the police station in freedom as he gave me a thumbs up. As I was running I caught up into an apartment complex which looks decent on the outside but ehh.. it's only 120$ per month, not bad. I went up to this ASIAN landlord who looked young but- nvm I'm not gonna question her-

Jess's POV:
"Hello welcome to moonlight luxury hotel how may I help you.." I said with a dead glare since HE wanna stare at me as if we have a problem. "Uhm.. can I stay here for atleast a month? The guy with glasses and who's BLACK says who's also surprisingly hella skinny. "Yeah sure let me call in Lotelia." I said as I went to my phone and dialed her. Damn, she's always taking so long because she's always partying or going on vacations as a manager.

Kirby's POV:
As we waited, I took a look around and lemme tell you, GIRL THIS PLACE SPECTACULAR ASFFF. They got da ASIAN waterfall with them big ass goldfish's- I think they're those Japanese kinds? Prolly. As well as a Michelin star restaurant next to it (literally) as well as a white and grey aesthetic around it with cherry blossom plants around. As I looked around.. a man entered. I GLARED.

Elijah's POV:
"Why hey Eli!" Jess said as he came in, he's been staying here for 5 months now. "Hey Jessica." I said as i was about to head upstairs. But then.. "OMG ITS YOU." someone said as I turned around to see who, it's that same journal lunatic from the train the other day. I was surprised, what a coincidence. "Wait- isn't HE supposed to be in jail?" I said outloud by accident as I let my intrusive thoughts slide out. "SHHHHHH" Kirby said as he gave me a glare, "Listen I don't wanna throw hands because the police is still on my ass but ATLEAST STAY QUIET." he said.

Jess's POV
"YOUR A CRIMINAL ON THE LOOSE?" I exclaimed in shock as my jaw dropped and so did my boba. "JESS PLZ SPARE ME ISTG IF YOU REPORT ME-" Kirby says as I grabbed the telephone and was about to dial the manager aka Lotelia but NO, HE SLAPPED IT OUT OF MY HAND. Just as he was gonna bitchslap me Elijah stopped him, "Don't do this, I won't report you if you don't hurt her or anyone." Elijah says, Kirby looked at me then back at Elijah and let go. "Alright I won't." Kirby said but then..

*BITCHSLAPPP*

"SIKE I JUST DID!! THATS WHAT YOU GET WONTONN FOR NEARLY CALLING THE MANAGER ON ME!" he said, my left cheek is now fucking red, fml. "YOU FUCKING.." just as I was about to jump him, the manager came.

Lotelia's POV:
As I got back from the Bahamas, lord. Coming in was a HUGE mistake. We got Elijah looking flabbergasted asf while this skinny black guy with glasses is standing right next to him looking at me in silence and then Jess's left cheek is red bruised up badly while she's looking pissed as well- damn, what happened over here? "Yall what's going on?" I questioned as Jess sighed and recapped everything that happened earlier. "Alright Kirby so we NOT gon get the police on you but since your not 18 yet we gon have to contact your parents-" I said but then he shouted "NOOOO." me and jess looked at each other and confusion and said in unison "why?"

Kirby's POV:
I sighed as everyone looked at me with confusion, "My moms a narcissist and my dads a deadbeat. Happy?" I said as a frown formed upon my face. It was pure silent as I let those words out. "I'm sorry to hear that." Jess said as she was shocked while Elijah was just looking down the whole time. ATLEAST ACKNOWLEDGE ME UGHH. "Ok so what's gon happen is we gon call your parents to come here and yall can have a chat, cuz that's how things can get fixed as manager speaking." Lotelia says, "Fine." I said as I rolled my eyes to prepare for the UNTHINKABLE duo that I disregarded my whole life, I don't even get why my Dads soft spoken yet- he DEFENDED her of her narcissism against me.

As we waited, Jess prepared us chai tea which was OUUU GURL rlly good, "this taste is REALLY strong." Elijah said, "Yeah that's because it has a strong flavor to it." Jess explained as she sat down with us in the lobby and drank. The manager and her co assistant seem really sweet to give us hospitality actually as I smiled with a Grinch Aaa Grin. "Can you.. not do that 💀." Jess said with a serious demeanor and I sighed and nodded, didn't mean to came off as that. Just then, someone and another comes into the hotel- OMG R THEY RLLY HERE?!

*Kirbys mom*
Ugh, it's that gay son I have. I could care less, but have to maintain a positive image around public ofc. I come in with my husband as we are bout to confront Kirby the truth. "What did he do this time?" I asked as if I was worried (when I'm really not and want him out of my sight.), "Well your son says he's had a problem at the train station and—" just as Lotelia was about to continue I shouted "TRAIN STATION? So THATS WHERE YOU BEEN THOSE 3 MONTHS.." I said in shock as I really wanna beat the shit out of Kirby for it. I don't care if he cries or feels hurt; he's not validating MY feelings.

Kirby's POV:
"We'll yknow what mom, the only thing you ever cared about validating is YOURSELF and YOURSELF ONLY." Which got the hotel in silence. "Damn.." Jess mumbled her breath, "Kirby that's not the right way to speak to your mom." Dad says but then she put her finger on his lips to refrain him and darted her eyes back on me and said "You REALLY wanna know something?" And I was like "Ok?" and she goes....

My heart sank as the whole hotel squad with me
was in pure shock.

"Dad?...." was the last thing I said.

fun fact: both of my friends actually like this fanfic and encourage me to kept writing during the finals 😭 but I started writing this summer. So there will be a total of 10 chapters but they're gonna be more extended than this one so stay tuned <3
