I Found You, At Last

Chapter 3

Rapunzel's POV
I sat through English while staring at Jack unconsciously. I didn't realise I was staring until he winked at me. Cheeky bastard. It's like he knows exactly how to make me blush. I stopped staring after that and focused on my work. My long hair was beginning to get in the way so I stopped and tied it up in a messy bun with strands of hair framing my face. It wasn't perfect but it'd do for now. The bell rung at long last. I packed up my things and I sighed as I realised I still didn't know where I was going.

"Hey, remember I'm going to help you out Punzie don't look so stressed out" he said softly putting my nerves to ease. We walked out if class together when Jack suddenly said "I like your hair like this" as he inspected my face "I can see your eyes a lot clearer, you've got nice eyes". I stopped walking as I tried to cover up my flaming red cheeks. Jack however didn't notice my abrupt stop and continued walking on, talking to no one. He eventually came to his senses when he crashed into a person.

"Watch it, Frost". He had brown hair with gorgeous brown eyes. He was wearing a varsity jacket, obviously implying he was a jock.
"Take it easy, Ryder I'm just showing around a friend" Jack said casually as he turned to me "cmon lets get going". We began to walk off when suddenly he grabbed my arm gently but firmly. I turned quickly. "Um, can you let me go please". "Oh right sorry, the names Flynn, by the way. You should come to football practise I'm the schools quarter back" Flynn said. I just nodded and quickly followed Jack.

"Don't worry about him, he's actually my friend" Jack said as he saw the look on my face.
"You don't seem like friends, like at all"
"We've had a past but we've decided to move on, we're good now I swear". I nodded.
"But I will keep an eye out for you around him, don't worry" he casually said as he gave me a wink. I just playfully pushed him "I don't need you to look out for me" I said and childishly stuck out my tongue.

As the last bell of the day rung, I gathered my books and rushed to my locker.
"Hey Punzie, Merida,hiccup and I are heading down to get some ice cream in town, care to join us?" I heard Jack call out. I turned to see him smiling like a child on Christmas with both his arms around a annoyed Merida and a giddy hiccup.
"Don't touch me Frost" Merida said as she glared at him. I laughed at the site and agreed to go. "Alright cmon" I laughed along with the others. I sent my mom a quick text to let her now where I'd be and we left to school together.
