First day at in-laws house

Sun rays made its way through the window

to enter the room and make the newly wedded couple sleep disturb

Y/N: what is the time *moving her hands towards the side table to get her mobile phone suddenly her eyes went wide open* shit shit how someone can be this much irresponsible it is my first day and here I'm still not ready what his family will think of me ohhh God why me everytime.

Shubman POV

I woke up in the empty bed searching for Y/N just to look in front of me her getting ready I must say she is beautiful *what you can't say thing like this to her what she will think of me a perverte no no
Suddenly she looked over at me my breath hitched for a second.

Y/N: Ohh you're awake go take a shower and come downstairs Mumma is calling us

Shubman: yeah I'll be back in few minutes *he went away*

Why do I get nervous around him every time no you can't keep shuttering in front of them what he'll think of me he got married to a dumbo what am I even thinking oh god I need rush I've to make the breakfast for everyone

Downstairs

As I walked I saw his mother in the kitchen preparing something the aroma was hitting my nostril she a great cook indeed I went to her

Y/N: what are you doing mumma let me help you

S/M: baacha it's okay main kar lungi ti bass kuch halka sa bana de rasam ke liye *itni pyari saas* kya pasand h tujhe woh bana le ya bol main bana deti hoon

Y/N: nii mumma main theek hun aap jo bolengi main woh banaungi aaj boliye aapko kya khana h?

S/M: Tum baache aapna decide krlo hum dono bhi wahi kha lenge

Few moments later

Everyone is sitting on their respective place and here I'm serving I don't know why cooking makes me feel clam and seeing people eat my made dish is another kind of happiness especially my own people and I guess these three precious are added on that list.... I was serving happily until Papa ji said

S/F: I must say today's aloo parathe taste different. Did you made this beta

I was just thinking about the taste did it taste awful or I messed up?

Relief I was scared to death why do I even think this much with my stupid brain...

Y/N ko kahin le jaa ghumne ke liye... Phir uske baad tum dono ko Y/N ke ghar bhi toh jana h yaad haina?

Shubman: Haan mamma yaad hai.... Aur abhi toh decided nii kiya h kahan jayenge I'll let you people know after some time.
*everyone nodded in affirmative*

Y/N Pov

On serious note I don't want to go anywhere idk why I'm weird we just spend our time at home everyone sitting and talking...my chain of thoughts chain were broke by the sound of door knob I look up and saw Shubman standing near the couch...

Shubman: I was asking if we can go somewhere in the evening is that okay for you?

Y/N: Haan mujhe koi problem nii h we can but where?

Shubman: Aap bolo aapko kidhr jana hai humlog wahan jayenge.

Y/N: You decide I'm okay with anywhere.

*Time skips*

Everyone was sitting in living room and chit-chatting. I and shubman were about to go somewhere I don't know where let's see what he had planned for us...

S/M: ohh beta ready ho gaye tumlog aacha kahan ka plan bana h

Shubman: Aa kar bolunga
*why he is keeping me in suspense*

After driving for ½ an hour we reached some sort of lake *ohhhh God I'm already liking this place*

Shubman: there's a restaurant over here they serve the best food I ever had after my mother's let go *I nodded and went with him*

We talked about our like and dislike the conversation was a healthy start to our new beginning his always so attentive while listening and that's what I like most about him ufff

Y/N: let's go home should we?

Shubman: We can if you want or we can just go on a drive kya khayal h aapke?

Y/N: I see you started to know about my likes Mr Gill? *smirk*

Shubman: Yes Mrs. Gill any doubt?
*we giggled*

After a long drive to home we talked about our schedule after a few days as we'll shift me being a corporate majdoor 😭 we'll be living in his apartment now ours ohhhh it's sound so good OURS I'm already falling for him but let's take things slow and steady..... After we reached home we talked about us shifting and his parents agreed they're just so understanding and supportive *koi aache karam kiye honge maine*
