My body can't move, my head feels like it got flushed out with water. Toby is already on the ground writhing. The problem with resisting the Operator is it hurts more when he comes around.

[Name] stands their ground, not that they should be affected.

After all, they're just an intern, they probably can't even comprehend what's happening.

I kind of feel bad for them. Having to depend on the fact I might not kill them and being in an unknown place. If I were them, I would have offed myself by now.

I eventually have to sit down from the constant nausea, Toby is getting the worst of it- he isn't even moving anymore, I'm pretty sure he passed out.

… X-Virus is dead huh? Well, anything is better than this. They'll find his body eventually and bury it off grounds.

I try to keep my eyes on [Name], they're standing in front of a 8 foot tall…thing who just murdered someone in front of them. They seem unfazed. This is probably the worst indoctrination this place has seen. Seriously, this plan has really gone to shit.

[Name] was supposed to die from blood loss, but didn't. [Name] was supposed to die from starvation, but didn't. [Name] was supposed to be killed by X-Virus, but didn't. Honestly, it's surprising someone would want to stay alive in here, let's see how long that lasts in front of the Boss.

[Name] stands up right, still staring at the Boss, and if I didn't know any better I would think nothing of it. But I'm pretty sure they're talking.

The Boss's DNA is inside [Name] now, so there really is no telling how much they're capable of.

By now, it's pretty given that they're hard to kill. That and they don't need to blink. Can you really even call them human?

As I thought that, [Name] began to struggle in pain. I couldn't tell what for because I was so far away, but it must have been the Operators fault because [Name] made the stupidest choice to actually hit him.

Before I knew it, [Name] was actually seriously fighting the guy! What is this weirdos problem?! Haven't they heard of the phrase, “Don't bite the hand that feeds you”?!

I'll be the first to admit [Name] might make for a scary opponent, but there's no way to win against him. No one was able to.

For the tiniest of seconds, I thought that maybe I saw something happening to [Name]’s stomach. It looked like their stitching opened again. It didn't really look like there was blood pouring out though. It looked more like…

“Jack, get up on your feet.” Toby's voice calls behind me, which shouldn't be possible, because he was flat out unconscious on the floor a few minutes ago.

I turn my head, and there stands Toby, fully recovered, offering out his hand to me. I grab it and he gets me off the ground.

Once on my feet, Toby's hand randomly twitches, almost shattering mine in one big crack.

> “Jesus, I thought the Boss drugged you out of your mind. Looks like the effects wore off.” I hold my stinging hand.

“Or they're being delayed.” Toby points to behind me, referring to the fight between [Name] and the Boss.
