"You! Spiky Hair!" The Mechanic said, pointing at Kai. "You are going to face me."
Kai backed away from the Mechanic, raising his eyebrows. "Face you for what?"
"You are a ninja, correct? So why don't you show us all that you are courageous and brave, and that you are as overconfident as always as I kick your butt!" The Mechanic explained.
Kai grinned nervously. "Uh... when did they say I was overconfident?" Nya gave him a look, and Kai sighed. "Fine. Bring it on!"
"Since you were courageous enough to challenge me first, I'll make you a deal. Let's say, if you beat me in this friendly duel, I'll break my alliance with Kalmaar."
"Deal!" Kai said confidently. Nya facepalmed but didn't say anything as she and the others backed into the corner to watch Kai and the Mechanic duel.
The Mechanic threw a punch at Kai with one of his mechanical arms. Kai clearly wasn't ready, and he slammed into the arcade cabinet. "Hey!" Kai yelled. "I was positioning myself!"
"Too bad!" The Mechanic lunged for Kai, but he dodged out of the way. Kai landed on his back in front of the dusty bookshelf. The Mechanic turned on him as he scrambled to his feet. Cole was chewing on his fingernails very loudly.
"Cole, can you please be quiet?" Jay asked.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Master of Blabber! You're asking me to be quiet?" Cole shot back. Jay scoffed.
"You really wanna start this?"
"Sure! Why not?" Cole replied sarcastically.
"Well, first of all, you're chewing your nails very loudly. I'm guessing it's because you ran out of cake!" Jay exclaimed, not bothered by the fact that the Mechanic had sent something whizzing by his head. Lloyd ended up getting hit by the object in the face and crumpled to the floor. Zane rushed to help him up.
"Guys, can you focus?" Nya scolded. "The Mechanic is beating up Kai and you're here arguing about cake! Go over there and help him!" She shoved Jay, and he ended up crashing into the Mechanic as he was doing a backflip off of the bookshelf, and the both collapsed. Nya facepalmed as Jay held his head, pain clear in his eyes.
"Dude! Is that metal hat really necessary?" He asked the Mechanic.
The Mechanic stood up and threw a punch at him, which was dodged. "Well, duh! If I want to make sure that Nya stops stealing my noodle trucks!"
"Uh, okay... but Nya already has over two million of them. Are they all yours?" Kai asked.
Nya shot him a dirty look as the Mechanic catapulted two metal arms towards Kai and Jay. The arms grabbed both of them and tossed them out the door. Kai landed on his back on the sidewalk, and Jay ended up on top of him.
"Ugh, those idiots can't do anything right!" Nya shrieked, rushing into battle. The Mechanic dodged her easily, but Zane hit him in the back of his head with his shurikens. Lloyd took that as an advantage and lunges for the villain, crashing both of them to the floor. They were in a position similar to Kai and Jay.
"Cole? Can you please assist us?" Zane asked tiredly. Cole was standing in the corner, staring at them wide-eyed. He shook himself out of his trance and helped the three tie the Mechanic up. He went outside and helped Kai and Jay up as well.
"Finally. Is this city full of idiots or what? Why did I even leave Ignacia?" Jay asked, rubbing his arm.
"Ignacia? But you're from the Sea of Sands!" Kai pointed out.
"I went to Ignacia to visit my cousins."
"Your cousins?" Cole asked.
"Yeah! Do you know Cedric Diggory Fallon and James Fallon Jr.? And Griffin Turner Fallon?" Jay asked. (NOT REAL- JUST MY VERSION OF JAY'S FAMILY)
"The famous criminals? They are your cousins?" Lloyd asked disbelievingly.
"Griffin isn't evil. He's the Master of Speed, remember? Cedric and James are evil. And yeah, James Fallon Sr. is my mom's brother."
"Edna has a brother?" Lloyd asked.
Jay facepalmed. "Not Edna! My biological mother! The former Master of Lightning?"
"Right. They live in Ignacia?" Lloyd asked.
"Yes."
Lloyd grinned. "Maybe we could go capture them and bring them to Kryptarium."
Jay seemed slightly uncomfortable with that idea, but he smiled nevertheless. "Great idea, Lloyd! Let's go, shall we?"
