(Expect slight grammar mistakes, maybe... I don't know man..... and when I wrote this fic I thought the hardest part was going to be the actual writing... but no... it's actually gathering the correct information to actually make a sorta believeable story... there will be faults and mistakes... but I am trying to make it look sorta good... atleast for my first actual fanfic.)
Virion Leywin
I traversed through the cavern, avoiding sharp rocks and edges where I could slip. It did not take me long to find what I was looking for. A camp, more specifically, an Alacryan camp. My blood magic counted forty-seven of them, most simply sitting around campfires while others trained with each other. I watched them from a tall vantage point before getting ready to strike.
Stealth is an option, however it's not what I had in mind. My eyes inspected all of them critically, making a profile out of them while analyzing potential weak points I could exploit, despite knowing that they would never be able to defeat me in combat. With a light push of my mana I rushed towards the second strongest opponent.
He was quite a big fellow, short brown hair and a bulky build, he had some armor on him, but his back was entirely exposed showcasing his runes proudly. He was currently observing a fight between two other soldiers, but they were nothing compared to him and in the end he would never stand a chance against me.
He had a fraction of a second to react and raised his battle ax to block, however it was already far too late. I watched as my blood sword sliced through his flesh, muscle and even bone like hot butter. His face stuck in an expression of terror as his head slowly glided off and hit the floor with a loud 'thump'. That noise was the only one heard throughout the entire cavern at that moment.
Forty-six pairs of eyes settled on me, each bearing a different emotion. Terror, anger, sadness, even excitement. ''Get in formation!'' A commanding voice echoed throughout the cavern, the rest of the Alacryans formed a battle formation as they circled me. Striker's in the front while Castler's were in the back, mana rushing through their bodies in anticipation for my next move.
While they watched me with the focus of a hawk, I barely shot them a look since my focus was more directed on something behind them. A big looming portal that glowed a shade of lavender and blue, a teleportation gate. ''Archers!'' A woman roared out, and not even a second later, dozens of arrows were shot in my direction.
I pushed a slight bit of mana into myself and leaped up into the air, dodging all the arrows. However I was met with a blade that almost cut me in half, I leaned to the side and grabbed the weapon mid air, it pushed me back slightly and I could also feel it cutting my hand but I spun around and threw it back to the army at atleast twice the speed.
They formed a shield but it was not enough to stop the blade from penetrating and cleaving two of them in half. I used the roof off the cavern as a foothold and shot myself at them, using the blood of the three soldiers I had already killed to accelerate my speed even further as well as create a shield that protected me from any projectiles.
I crashed in the middle of their formation, their shields broken instantly from my speed. Several soldiers came at me swinging their weapons. I sidestepped a sword and using the momentum I spun around to send a kick into a smaller soldier wielding daggers, it instantly broke his skull and sent him flying back, but before his body had even begun moving a meter I had already made him explode.
