THE GROUP had made it to Terminus. They could see it in the distance, a large brick building, the letters TERMINUS being spelled out across it.

A few of them shared smiles as they approached it, opening the gate, guards remaining up.

They saw flower beds, full of sunflowers.

Amelia used to love sunflowers. It warmed her heart to see them again. They were her favourite.

They walked through another gate, looking around at the signs of life, and people.

A woman turned around, smiling. "Hi. I'm Mary." She said.
"Looks like you've been on the road a while." She nodded to herself.

"We have." Maggie told her.

"Let's get you settled and we'll make you a plate." She told them.

"Welcome to Terminus."

Amelia woke up. It was dark. She didn't know where she was. She sat up, the ground was hard. She heard familiar voices.

"Amelia?" Called out Glenn.

"What happened?" She asks, as he helps her up.

"We don't know. We all woke up here." Maggie told her.

"We're in some sort of train car." Abraham said, lightly banging on the walls.

She was confused. What on earth was this place? Was it a trap?

All of a sudden, there were gunshots. Amelia was right to be skeptical of this place. Sanctuary for all? Community? Bullshit. She should've known.

The gunshots continued for a while, everyone was on edge, scared.

"Could it be them?" Maggie suggested to Glenn.

He shrugged.

Eventually, they could hear muffled voices.

They were hard to make out, before, suddenly, the train car opened.

There stood a figure, the daylight blinding Amelia, along with everyone else.

The figure stepped in, along with three others following behind.

Glenn began to walk towards said figures, the rest of them following behind.

"Rick?" He said.

Who is Rick? Amelia felt so clueless.

"You're here." The man before him spoke out. He was scruffy and dirty. A large grey beard, and sweaty, curly hair. Amelia assumed this was Rick.

He looked around, before nodding, confidently.

"You're here."

People emerged from behind Rick, as did everyone from behind Glenn.

Amelia could see another scruffy, even more dirty man stood by Rick. He had long hair and stubble, and wore a vest.

She could also see a black woman, who had long dreadlocks and seemed stunned at the sight of everyone before her.

In the back she could faintly make out a shorter person, with a cowboy hat, who seemed young, but not weak.

Rick looked at Amelia and the others, who were in the back, confused.

He must not know Abraham, Rosita, Eugene or Tara either.

"They're our friends." Maggie assured him.
"They helped save us." She said.
