Sofia Wiart Brings Out Old Band The Musketeers in Stunning Private Concert

This past weekend, in an electrifying and intimate concert, French singer-songwriter Sofia Wiart left her fans breathless by not only performing a song from her brand new album, but also by reuniting her original band, The Musketeers.
Indeed, before having a successful solo career, Sofia started out in a band back in 2011.
Sofia and The Musketeers' first and sole album called 'Begin Again' came out in 2012 but only gained recognition in early 2014 when their songs became every teenager's anthem.
The surprise event, kept secret and revealed only to a selected few, was a night filled with nostalgia, new sounds but mostly classics. A mix that is sure to leave a long lasting impression.

The concert kicked off with Wiart's first live performance of 'I know the End', an intense and cathartic song. The track is already generating buzz, and her live rendition showcased her signature haunting vocals, paired with explosive instrumental work that had the audience both mesmerized and on their feet.
While Wiart is known for her deeply personal penmanship and her ability to command any stage, this performance proved to be unique in its connection with the public and its intimacy.

But the biggest surprise of the night came midway through the set, when Wiart invited her former bandmates from The Musketeers -the group with which she launched her career- to join her on stage.
Fans erupted with applause as Eros Kerrouche, Lou Mercier, Jeanne Lucas, and Mathilde Laouard joined her, making the moment feel like a family reunion for long-time followers of Wiart's early career.

Each band member carved out their own path in the arts, bringing a wealth of experience to the reunion. Eros Kerrouche, now a prominent Broadway singer, immediately lit up the stage with his charisma and powerful voice. Lou Mercier, who transitioned into film direction and is now an acclaimed movie director, brought her own artistic vision to the performance. Jeanne Lucas, an artist known for her impactful visual work, and Mathilde Laouard, a successful author, completed the ensemble, each adding layers of history and artistry to the set. Talent just seems to come to them naturally.

Together they performed songs from their album- now a classic among fans- giving the audience a memorable mix of nostalgia and reimagined performances. The chemistry between the band was undeniable, with laughter, shared smiles, and a deep sense of camaraderie shining through their music.
It was a tribute to not only their early work, but to their journey they each taken since their last performance together.

Toward the end of the night, after the band left the stage to a roaring ovation, Wiart returned alone for a moment of unexpected vulnerability. She closed the concert with a never-before-heard song titled "Invisible String", allegedly written for her best friend, actress Adaline Sauveterre.
"This song is about those connections that happen when you least expect them, the invisible strings that tie us to the people we need the most," Wiart explained. The song, which weaves together themes such as fate, friendship, and loyalty, left fans emotional, sparking immediate speculation online about the deep bond between Sofia Wiart and Sauveterre.
