Oh 얽히고 설켜진
차원 속에 선택의 딜레마
발을 내딛기가 난 겁이 나
I hate to be or not

(Oh, twisted and tangled
Dilemma of choice within dimensions
Taking a step makes me afraid
I hate to be or not)

By the time the classes resumed, a huge storm erupted.

The wind was so sharp that the windows rattled and the branches of trees trembled terribly.

Everyone had returned to their respective classes, despite the teacher's attempts to grab the attention of the students, no one was really paying any to them.

Almost everyone's attention was captivated by the storm brewing outside. At last the teachers gave up and let them look out.

Nishimura Riki was one of the few people who didn't give a damn about the storm.

He mostly had his head rested on the desk, trying to draw out the murmurs and giggles of the students as they chattered and looked out the window.

If truth be told, Nishimura Riki was outcasted on the very first day of school. His classmates were avoiding him like the plague.

Nishimura Riki didn't know if it was the fact that he was a foreigner or because of his slightly rebellious character, but he didn't want to know either.

But somewhere in the lines, he was quite aware of the fact that word had spread about him being a privileged student and how his grades weren't up to the expectations. Well it was way below that to be frank.

And he was quite aware of the fact that almost everyone hated him for that- and he hated them too.

But he could tell where they were coming from. Having to study like crazy to get into such a prestigious school, only for some rich kid to pay through the way, if he was in their place, he would hate himself too.

But then again, it's their problem.

Nishimura Riki would trade anything to go back to his previous school. He didn't have much friends there either, but no one seemed to despise his entire existence.

But, he felt that it would be alright. He didn't mind being all alone with just himself, he was used to it anyway.

The bell rang, indicating it was the end of classes for today.

Nishimura Riki slung his bag over his shoulder and directly made for his dormitory, not wanting any unnecessary interactions.

His mind kept rewinding back to the tree incident, his nose still hurt from the shoe falling onto it.

His face grimaced at the thought, he knew that the three guys didn't like him, he actually lied about not eavesdropping in their conversation, well it wasn't his fault that they were obnoxiously loud, especially the Jake bloke, and well the feeling was mutual.

He wasn't quite sure about why he was up in the tree either. It was more of like a spur-of-the-moment decision.

Nishimura Riki trudged back to his dormitory, his head down and eyes fixed to the path ahead of him.

Suddenly, he bumped into a boy who had appeared out of nowhere. The impact was jarring, sending him thrashing to the ground with a loud thud, while the other boy's books and papers scattered around him.

Nishimura Riki's eyes darkened with anger and irritation as he yelled at the boy, "Look where you're going you arse!".

The other boy scoffed at him, as if mocking him. Seeing this, Nishimura Riki's anger flared, and he grabbed the boy by the scruff of his collar, "And what did that exactly mean?" He demanded gruffly.

The boy was taken aback at the sudden threat, and his eyebrows raised in surprise. The boy, though smaller than him, was surprisingly strong. With a swift shove, Nishimura Riki was sent crashing against the wall, his breath knocked out of him.

Nishimura Riki was enraged and almost immediately stood up, ready to charge at the boy again.

Just then, a teacher noticed the commotion, "HEY! What do you think you're doing, boy?! To the office, NOW!" The teacher yelled, his voice echoing down the hallway.

Nishimura Riki, his face flushed with anger and embarassment, reluctantly followed the teacher.

The boy stood still, watching as Nishimura Riki and the teacher's figures disappeared into the hallway. The boy stared at them curiously, then slowly started to pick up the scattered papers.

Yang Jungwon,
was an excellent student, known for his top grades ever since childhood.

Yang Jungwon didn't particularly come from a wealthy family. Instead it was his own talent and intelligence that earned him a place at the prestigious Decelis Academy. He was a meritorious student, consistently achieving top grades.

Yang Jungwon lived with his grandparents, his parents lived far away from them, in another state doing their job. Yang Jungwon rarely met his parents, and to be honest he would like to keep it that way.

His grandparents were more like his real parents, having raised him ever since his childhood while his parents were away, busy with work and whatnot.

His grandparents were overjoyed when he was accepted into the Decelis Academy, known for it's high academic standards and prestige. To them, it was a matter of significant achievement and pride for their grandson to get admitted into such an institute.

Yang Jungwon was quite responsible too. He was determined to succeed, not just for himself, but for his grandparents too.

Yang Jungwon's interaction with the blonde, Nishimura Riki, gave him the icks.

He didn't like the boy.
