Everyone was heading back towards the gym, but Kenma and Hinata hadn't come back yet. Kageyama started walking over to them before Kuroo stopped him.

"Give 'em a minute, if they aren't done by the time everyone else is inside I'll go get them." He said.

"Okay." Kageyama wanted to argue and ask why, but there wasn't much more he could do. kuroo was a third year, a captain, and he was welcoming the team into a training camp. Why is Hinata lying to me? At this point he considers me a best friend, so why can't he just tell me?! Even Kuroo knows what's going on! He thought. He looked back one more time before entering the gym, only to see Kuroo staring at him. He quickly turned away and walked to the gym.

"Kageyama! What's up?" Sugawara said.

"Nothing." He replied.

"Nothing can hide that look on your face, come on, tell me! Is it juicy?!"

"No, leave me alone."

"I'll tell Coach you're off your game!"

"I'm not, once I get on that court I'll be right as rain!"

"Alright! Y'know sometimes I want to play." Sugawara said before walking over to Daichi. Kageyama put on his kneepads and started stretching as he watched the door.

"I better see both of you warming up!" Kuroo said as he walked in the gym, Kenma and Hinata close behind.

"Dude what took so long?" Tanaka asked.

"Nothing, just catching up!" Hinata said. What a liar, they're always texting each other, what the hell do they have to catch up on?! Kageyama walked over to Hinata, who was bouncing around the gym.

"Hey!" He called.

"What up, Kageyama?"

"My first set, is going to you, so be prepared!"

"Alright, but I'm always prepared, so why are you telling me?"

"You seem out of it."

"You sure you're not the one out of it? Is this like with Oikawa where you just start thinking about it too hard?"

"Thinking to much is better than not thinking at all shorty!"

"Hey look Fukurodani is here!" Hinata yelled before running over to Bokuto. Kageyama stared at the ground where Hinata was standing earlier. He hated how he was feeling, it was going to mess him up during the practice matches. He didn't know why he saw Kenma as competition, Hinata had made tons of friends from different teams, how was this any different?

"Hey, the games about to start y'know!" Tsukkishima said. Kageyama put on his practice jersey and stormed onto the court.

"So what's our punishment for losing this time?" Daichi asked.

"We'll figure it out after the game, good luck by the way." Kuroo responded.

"You too, I bet you'll need it." The match started and just as Kageyama had said, he set the first ball straight to Hinata. He watched as Hinata spiked the ball to the back left corner of the court, straight to the libero. The ball went to Kenma, then Lev, and finally, the floor of the gym.

"What the hell was that?!" Kageyama yelled. "You've been training for so long, you know how to aim, that went straight to their libero!"

"Sorry, I just wasn't thinking about it." Hinata said quietly.

"Whatever."

"Kageyama! This is your only warning, cool down or I'm putting in Suga!" Ukai yelled.
