Flashback

In the middle of the night, a couple with two children was running through the middle of the deserted road, a night full of black sky surrounding with thunder is striking in the sky illuminating the faces of the man and woman drenched in the sweat

That man had holded a girl nearly ten years old in his arms.
Who was unconscious and a bandege was bedecked on her forehead she had some bruises on her arm's as she was laying on his shoulder lifelessly.

Both of them stopped gasping for air as they had run for hours now, and rain is started to pour on them as they felt more tired.

Getting stealter in the temple of Hanuman they stopped.

The girl in the arms of that woman open her eyes groggily her sleep was broken due to thunder sounds but her eyes can't open Fully .
That five years old child was feeling confused as why not being in their own house in this dangerous night they are staying in this small temple.

"Asha leave mugdha here."
That man ordered, looking at mugdha.
Pointing towards the orphanage. Which was front of him.

That woman was shocked, looking at him with a widened eyes. Tightened her hold on mugdha who was lying on her lap quitely.

Well a mute can't even speak how can she inturpt them.

"How can you say something like this.
She is our daughter. Did you forget?"
Asha shouted on him angrily she can't let her daughter being alive kept in an orphanage.

"I didn't forgot asha.
That man is after Swati, if we leave her here, she will be safe for Time being. Then after everything sort out we will get her out of here. But this time is not for thinking with emotions it's time you should think rationally asha."
Taking a deep breath he looked at Swati who was lying on the ground with her bandage on forehead.
He caresed her forehead lovingly.

And looked at mugdha who is lying on ashas lap.

"We can't fight him with only our power asha try to understand. They had Swatis all information, it will be difficult for us to hide from him.
If we take mugdha with us we all are going to in more danger
She is my daughter also Asha, but I don't want to fall pray for that man's tricks.
And we can run easily with only one child.
With both of them with us we will fall in their one or other trap and will get caught.
Try to understand. Please."
He caresed mugdhas face calmly.

"She will be safe. Asha." He said after a long pause.

"You try to understand... she is a kid."

"You are leaving her here asha, and that is my final decision."
Said that man standing straight.

"And I am not leaving her, this is my final decision."
Declared Asha. Looking at him straight in his eyes.

Both of them had that eye contact for a while both of them are not ready to budge.

After hours of downpour both of them had their discussion for a plan.
Which was fully heard by mugdha who was still lying on her mother's embrace she was not able to sleep due to thunder .

"Okay then, I will keep Swati with Me and you will keep mugdha."
Saying this he picked up Swati from floor.

Asha I am sorry. I love you so much. And mugdha beta I love you too. But situation is not in my hand I am sorry beta but I have to leave you here.
Saying this he kissed mugdhas forehead and ashas lips and asha kissed unconcious Swati making her wear a Rudraksh pendent.

Both husband and wife had a tight family hug . As tears poured down from both of their eyes.

That little child which was awake and listening everything can't understand the situation but knows that somthing bad is happening.

Last time both of them Looked at each other smiling and mutturing I love you so much.

As rain stopped he went away from there taking Swati with him.

Asha took Mugdha with her to a cheap colony whose address was given by her old ally and started to live there.

They didn't have many things they were living in in very poor condition, even if they had all efforts to make everything better, but it's all making not much of help, but both mother and daughter were happy and feeling safe with each other..

Until an unfortunate day...

When both vijay agnihotri and Ajay agnihotri knocked on their door.

Looking at mugdha they had a shocked expression but, didn't bother much with that thought.

They had a very heated argument with asha as they wanted something from her.

Asha denied them that she didn't have anything like that but they didn't budge and the nightmare started.

In which her mother was started to get humiliated by every man in her colony. That she started to feel threatened even going to fench water from the borewell.

Mugdha being a child understood her mother's dilemma and started to do those things where her mother doesn't have to face those snarling remarks.

Mugdha was not going to school for the most obvious reason that the school didn't permit a mute girl in their school. Even if it's not a place where teachers will teach students anything, that place was just for the teachers to sleep and have some time for themselves.
And students will play or do those things which are not meant for students.

Mugdha was not that much tensed about the things happening with her mother outside the house that much she started to feel scared looking at her mother who will always start to feel weak day by day.

In that one year her mother had stopped working as her body couldn't stand to work and mugdha had started to earn money by selling balloons and washing dishes and cups at a tea shop in the afternoon.

The torture inflicted by agnihotris started to increase even if her mother was weak she didn't forget to protect mugdha.

Mugdha always had watched those men who would beat her mother in the name of the recovery of debts, which Asha never had taken. but their situation didn't permit them to ask for help from anyone. as if , some thing was stopping Asha, from protecting herself.

And now mugdha understands what that reason was.
