Seokjin's obsession with Taehyung had taken a darker turn. The initial thrill of their brief encounter at the art exhibition had only fueled his desire to possess Taehyung entirely. Now, he found himself consumed by a need to eliminate any threat to his plans, regardless of the consequences.

It began subtly. Seokjin's men discreetly gathered information about Taehyung's friends and acquaintances, mapping out his social circle with meticulous precision. Taehyung’s closest friends, who often accompanied him to the café or on his city explorations, became Seokjin’s primary targets.

The first to disappear was Minji, Taehyung's best friend and confidante. She vanished without a trace one evening after work. Her family and friends were frantic, but no clues were found. Taehyung was devastated, spending sleepless nights trying to comprehend her sudden disappearance.

Next was Jisoo, a fellow art student who often collaborated with Taehyung on projects. She had been vocal about her suspicions surrounding Minji's disappearance, and Seokjin knew she posed a potential threat. One evening, Jisoo failed to return home. Her disappearance, like Minji's, was shrouded in mystery.

As more of his friends began to vanish, Taehyung felt an overwhelming sense of dread. The once vibrant and supportive social circle that had been his lifeline was rapidly shrinking. He couldn't understand why this was happening, and the weight of these unexplained disappearances pressed heavily on him.

Seokjin watched from the shadows, ensuring that each elimination was clean and untraceable. He reveled in the power he wielded, convinced that removing these obstacles was necessary to bring Taehyung closer to him. Each disappearance tightened the noose around Taehyung, isolating him further.

Despite his growing fear, Taehyung tried to carry on with his daily life. He buried himself in his studies and art, seeking solace in the familiar. Yet, the constant anxiety and loss were taking a toll on him. His once bright and curious demeanor began to dim, replaced by a haunted look in his eyes.

Seokjin decided it was time to make another move. He orchestrated a seemingly coincidental encounter at the café where Taehyung worked. As Taehyung served customers with a forced smile, Seokjin entered, exuding confidence and charm.

"Taehyung," Seokjin greeted warmly as he approached the counter. "It's been a while. How have you been?"

Taehyung looked up, surprise flickering in his eyes. "Seokjin," he said, trying to muster a genuine smile. "I've been... managing."

Seokjin's eyes softened with feigned concern. "I've heard about the disappearances. I'm so sorry, Taehyung. It must be incredibly difficult for you."

Taehyung nodded, his shoulders slumping slightly. "It's been hard. I don't understand why this is happening."

Seokjin reached across the counter, his hand gently touching Taehyung's. "If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know. You shouldn't have to go through this alone."

The contact, though brief, sent a shiver down Taehyung's spine. He felt a confusing mix of comfort and unease in Seokjin's presence. "Thank you, Seokjin," he said softly. "I appreciate it."

As Seokjin left the café, he knew he had planted another seed of dependence in Taehyung's mind. The unraveling of Taehyung's world was proceeding exactly as he had planned, and soon, Taehyung would have no one to turn to but him.

The stage was set for the next phase of Seokjin's plan. With Taehyung's social circle decimated and his sense of security shattered, it was only a matter of time before he would fall completely into Seokjin's grasp. And when that moment came, Seokjin would be there, ready to claim what he believed was rightfully his.
