Finally, the delivery man exits the lift at floor 32, leaving Jungwon and Harin alone once again. She quickly steps away from him flustered, and he clears his throat slightly, before moving to stand beside her again.
"Your parents told me you'd be here." He states suddenly, breaking the silence as he continues their conversation that was disrupted. "When you'd left for the bathroom, she told me."
"Oh." Harin replies, still not fully recovered from the event that just occurred. "What floor are you going to? You haven't pressed a button."
"Oh yeah, same as you. 45." He replies and Harin's heart races even more.
He's on the same floor as me?
There's a couple of seconds of silence before Harin is relieved to see that the doors finally open, indicating that they've arrived at their floor. Harin quickly heads out and tries to find her apartment, apartment 103.
When she finds it, she lets out a sigh of relief before taking out the keycard from her bag. But what she realises a split second later, is that Jungwon is stood just outside the apartment next to hers, 104.
She looks at him a little confused before he glances towards her with a smile on his face.
"I guess we got lucky, huh?" He states and Harin swallows, unsure how to process all of this. She simply nods with a smile before quickly entering her apartment, closing the door behind her.
She stands there and takes a few deep breaths with her eyes closed. When she opens them, she finds many cardboard boxes laying on the ground, waiting for her to unpack them.
She lets out a groan and flops onto the sofa, feeling as tired as ever. Her apartment is fairly medium sized, with the kitchen conjoined to the living room, a separate bathroom and a bedroom just for her. It's just how she envisioned it, but she's only planning to start decorating after a half hour nap.
Lessons only start in two days anyway.

Harin's first day at University has finally arrived, and she's never felt more nervous in her life. All she wants to do is make a good impression on her Professors, keep a low profile and also try to avoid Jungwon as much as she possibly could. Yes, part of her did want to see him here and there because there's something about him that makes her heart race. But on the other hand, she's too anxious. Anxious of embarrassing herself, or just getting involved with a boy in general.
Her parents would never allow it. That's also something they've been very clear to her about - no relationships, whatsoever. That means no involvement with any boys either. She's always been reserved since she was very little because of this, and has never made many friends. Up until now too, she still doesn't feel brave enough to go out there and try to.
On her way to her first lecture, she soon realises that she's gotten lost. She starts to sweat and her breathing quickens. She fumbles as she tries to open the paper map as she's walking, but as she's doing so, she suddenly bumps into a girl who's handbag falls straight to the floor.
Harin gasps in shock, and quickly crouches down to pick up the girl's things, trying to help her as best as she can. "I'm so incredibly sorry, that was completely my fault." Harin states, and the girl opposite her, feels somewhat pity for Harin herself as she watches her nervously trying to gather the makeup that spilled out of her bag.
"Don't be sorry, it was my fault too." The girl says sweetly, as they both finally stand up in the middle of the corridor. Harin hands over her bag and the girl gives her a smile, before reaching her hand out for a handshake. "I'm Maya, what's your name?"
Harin blinks for a moment, shocked that she stopped to have a conversation with her. "I'm Harin."
"It's nice to meet you Harin, are you a freshman too?" Maya asks and Harin nods her head in response. "Great! Let's be friends."
Harin finds it difficult to process the girl's confidence, and the fact that she wants to be Harin's friend out of all people. She parts open her lips slightly, before hesitantly replying, "Okay... what are you majoring in?"
"Art, you?"
"Law."
"Law?" Maya asks in confusion. "I swear I walked past that building on the opposite side of the campus."
Harin gasps as she fumbles to glance at her map again. "I'm that far off?"
Maya laughs at the girl's sense of urgency and shock, before she takes the map out of Harin's hands. "This map is useless, trust me. It's so misleading. I don't have a lecture right now, I can show you the way."
"Okay, thank you so much." Harin replies with a soft smile, feeling grateful for the stranger she just met. It also makes her extremely happy that she's made a friend so quickly, which is an unusual thing to happen to her. It gives her hope for the future time she'll be spending at this university, knowing she won't be completely alone for the next few years.
The two girls walk through the corridors, Maya linking her arm with Harin's with a bright smile on her face. Harin can't help but notice the glow that radiates off of her new friend's face. She's beautiful. Her hair looks soft and glossy, and it elegantly brushes past her shoulders as she walks. Her overall posture and body language simply projects the confidence that the girl holds.
The opposite of me.
