### (Mori's Universe)
#### Somewhere in a Barren Wasteland...
Dark clouds stretched over the land for miles, lightning striking down and thunder clapping. The ground was scarred with multiple craters, evidence of an intense battle that seemed to decide the fate of the world. In the distance, two figures could be seen: one standing six yards away from the other, who lay lifeless on the ground.
The standing figure was a 17-year-old boy with dark hair and obsidian eyes that gleamed with a star-like pattern. He wore a tattered white t-shirt, two black wristbands, blue pants, and red sneakers, his attire shredded from the fierce combat.
"The war is finally over," said the dark-haired boy to his fallen enemy.
The fallen deity, Moro, wore black Buddhist robes with a belt sash around his waist, also tattered and shredded. Blood seeped from his chest and stomach, the result of two surprise attacks from his former comrade.
Mori looked down at his fallen enemy, recalling the intense battle they had fought earlier.
"Finally, there will be peace in this world—the peace that my master, Xuanzang, and my disciples had spoken of," said Mori, panting heavily.
The battle had drained him to the point of exhaustion. Mori fell to his knees, using his arms to support himself from collapsing entirely. He knew he had little time left.
"I don't care about life anymore. All I care about is peace in this world," Mori murmured to himself.
He grinned, turning his face to the left to see his friends approaching. His eyes closed as he exhaled one last breath.
#### (Another Plane)
Mori woke suddenly, finding himself in a vast white space that resembled a train station platform. His clothes were no longer tattered and shredded. He walked around, looking for any sign of life.
"Where am I? Is this Heaven or Purgatory? But why would I be in Purgatory?" Mori wondered aloud.
"I can answer that for you, young one," said a voice.
Mori turned to see a figure bathed in light so bright that he had to shield his eyes.
"Who are you?" asked the former martial god, still covering his eyes. The light dimmed, revealing a woman in a white kimono.
"I am Kami," said the figure. Mori's eyes widened, and he dropped to his knees, bowing to the deity in respect.
"You brought me here?" asked Mori.
"Yes, I brought you here," replied Kami.
"Why?" asked Mori.
"Because you are not done yet," answered Kami, confusing the king.
"What do you mean 'I'm not done yet'?" asked Mori.
"You have done incredible deeds for your world, especially how you built so much trust among the nations in such a short amount of time. Now, there is another dimension whose peace is in danger," replied Kami.
"Another dimension? Why can't the people over there protect their own peace?" asked Mori.
Kami sighed. "Because there are obstacles they cannot overcome on their own. They have little to no experience in battle. Your extraordinary battle experience and abilities will be invaluable to them."
Mori thought it over for a moment, but his answer was already decided.
"I'm in," said Mori. He saw the small look of relief on Kami's face. "Send me to this dimension, and I'll do my best to preserve the peace."
