Chapter 3: The Call

*After talking a whole, Ignitus pulls Cynder, Spyro, Pyro, and Flaire into the temple*

Ignitus: Ok. Spyro, Cynder, take a peek.

*They both take a peek I to the Well of Time.

Ignitus: 7 years from now, this asteroid will devastate the land. Only Spyro can save it.

Spyro: What?!

Ignitus: You learned that water spell, haven't you?

Spyro: Yes.

Cynder: What about me?

Ignitus: Your powers are too weak to fight that asteroid

Cynder: Really? That's bullshit.

Ignitus: I know, but Spyro has better and stronger powers.

*All four head home*

Cynder: Ugh... So tired...

Spyro: Go rest Cynder.

Cynder: What about the kids?

Spyro: Go to sleep Cynder, they're fine here with me.

*Meanwhile, Spyro reads a book about how every 50,000,000 years, an asteroid appears. This asteroid called Asteroid of Dark Matter comes through every 50 million years. However, it's on a direct collision course*

Spyro: 7 more years.

Flaire: Mom, dad!

Spyro: Be quiet, Cynder is sleeping.

Flaire: But the asteroid, it's closer than it was!

Spyro: Oh shit. Ok, warn everyone.

Cynder: Huh?

Spyro: Cynder! We gotta meet with Ignitus, now.

Cynder: W-why?

Spyro: The asteroid is coming closer.

*They reach the Temple*

Ignitus: Ah, glad you're here, Spyro.

Spyro: Yeah. What's up?

Ignitus: I called you here because only you can save us.

Spyro: What about Cynder?

Ignitus: Her powers ain't strong enough, so she'll have to rely on you.

Spyro: Oh ok.

Ignitus: I'm sorry, Spyro.

Spyro: Nah, you're good Ignitus.

*Spyro delivers the breaking news to Cynder*

Cynder: IGNITUS SAID WHAT?!

Spyro: Ignitus said you can't come.

Cynder: WHY?!

Spyro: Because... This is my mission

Cynder: Oh.

Spyro: You just stay with the kids, I'll handle this asteroid.

Cynder: Don't die, please Spyro?

Spyro: I won't Cynder, I love you and the kids.

Cynder: We love you too!

*After saying his goodbyes, Spyro heads to the Altar, where the asteroid will be landing at*
