Y/n summoned the envelope with the bright red stamp to her hand. She wasn't expecting mail. She never got mail in her name. Perhaps that was what happened when you were the descendant of the great dark lord. Everyone feared her, hated her. Her past 16 years of life she had lived in the manor of the Malfoys. They had basically raised her since her father, Voldemort was defeated, and Bellatrix, her mother, was killed by Molly Weasley.

"Narcisa?" Y/n called out to her guardian, her hair falling into waves on her back, her black boots causing the floor to echo. Huge ceilings and pillars surrounded her. She walked to Narcisas room, her arms folded neatly behind her back, the envelope tight in her hand.

Y/n pushed the large door open with a flick of her wrist. She was unnaturally powerful, born with the powers of her mother and father. She tried to keep her power in check, but sometimes they got out of control when she was overly emotional. She could read emotions, wield wind and water, she was especially good with shadow wielding. She could hide her self in her shadows and darkness, so no one could see her. The malfoys told her to limit her power, that it will only make people hate her more, so that's what she did.

She walked in her guardians room, her eyebrows raised and her hands still behind her back. "Narcisa?" Y/n asked again, looking ahead where her aunt sat on her vanity, touching her makeup up as she flicked her wand around

"Yes, y/n, what is it?" Narcissas hair was being pulled into a tight bun, by the powers of her wand which she continued to flick in a circular motion. She was the kindest here to me, and I appreciated her more than anyone. She included me all she could. I didn't think Lucious enjoyed my company as much, as I'm pretty sure all he saw me as was a replacement of his last house elf, Dobby, that Harry Potter had freed.

My eyes narrowed in thought of the boy. "The chosen one." It was so stupid. Why was he the one that was chosen? Why was he apart of some prophecy in which that killed my father? And sure, I knew my father was considered a bad man, evil even. But I was still left without a father or mother to raise me. My thoughts were interrupted as I heard Narcisa calling me.

"I got this letter in the mail." I snapped my attention to her, pulling the letter from behind my back and showing her.

Her eyebrows stood up, matching mine. She read the front of the letter out: "To y/n Isabelle riddle." She read out, turning in the chair to face y/n.

"Hogwarts invites you to attend your 6th year here. We will teach you to master your skills with a wand, and magical abilities. Your expected due date is-" She was interrupted as a white haired boy fell into a room, a scowl on his face. Draco. I visibly had to stop myself from rolling my eyes.

"Mother, my invitation to Hogwarts came in, I want the new broom." His deep frown lit up his whole face and his eyes widened at he looked at the letter in his moms hand. He turned to me.

"You got an invitation? You?" He looked at me. "I guess dumbledore through you should get a chance." Draco smirked and ruffled my hair, making me glare. I always thought of him as an older brother. And he acted like one, always teasing me and ruffling my hair which I hated.

Narcisa nodded right away. "Well have to go to London for extra supplies. You're gonna need quills and books, and a broom, and probably a pet." Narcisa shot up, mumbling something about the tickets to diagon ally.. leaving just Draco and me. He slumped a lazy arm around my neck.

I glared up at him, making his grin wider.

"Don't worry, ill keep you in order." He teased, touching my ruffled hair more, and I batted him away, my touch sending real electricity down his bones. He jumped, giving me another scowl. "And I'll have to buy you some gloves to keep that in check." He strolled out the room.

I groaned and slumped down on Narcissas bed. Joy. I got to spend this year with people who hated my father as much as they'll hate me. I rubbed my eyes. This was going to be terrible.
