The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the tangled sheets and the two bodies still entwined in the aftermath of their passionate night. Daou woke first, blinking against the light and turning to watch Offroad sleep. The Omega looked peaceful, his usual defenses down, and Daou felt a wave of tenderness wash over him.

He brushed a lock of hair from Offroad's forehead, his touch gentle. As if sensing his gaze, Offroad stirred, his eyes fluttering open. When he saw Daou, a slow smile spread across his lips.

"Morning," Offroad murmured, his voice husky with sleep.

"Morning," Daou replied, leaning down to press a soft kiss to Offroad's lips. "How are you feeling?"

Offroad stretched, a contented sigh escaping him. "Better than ever. Last night was… intense."

Daou chuckled, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah, it was. I’m glad we did this."

Offroad's smile faltered slightly, a hint of uncertainty creeping into his eyes. "What does this mean for us, Daou? Are we… together now?"

Daou took a deep breath, considering his words carefully. "I don’t know what the future holds, but I want to be with you. Whatever this is, I want to see where it goes."

Offroad's eyes softened, relief and happiness evident in his expression. "I want that too."

They lay in comfortable silence for a while, savoring the rare moment of peace and intimacy. Eventually, the demands of the day pulled them from their cocoon, and they reluctantly got out of bed to get ready.

As they dressed, Offroad glanced at Daou, a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, what’s our next challenge?"

Daou smirked, buttoning his shirt. "Surviving the gossip that’s bound to spread once people find out about us."

Offroad laughed. "Bring it on. I’m ready for anything as long as we’re in this together."

Their banter was interrupted by a knock on the door. Daou opened it to find Ken and Nari standing there, both looking curious and a bit concerned.

"We came to check on you guys," Ken said, peering past Daou to see Offroad in the background. "Looks like you’re doing okay."

Nari’s sharp eyes missed nothing. "Is there something you want to tell us?"

Daou and Offroad exchanged a glance before Daou stepped aside, allowing their friends to enter. "We have something to share," Daou began, his tone serious. "Offroad and I… we’re together now."

Ken’s eyes widened in surprise, while Nari’s face broke into a knowing smile. "I knew it," she said, looking pleased. "It’s about time you two figured it out."

Ken grinned, clapping Daou on the shoulder. "Well, congratulations. You make a good pair."

The four of them settled into easy conversation, the initial shock giving way to acceptance and support. It was a relief to Daou and Offroad to have their friends on their side, reinforcing their determination to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As the day progressed, word of their relationship spread throughout the school. Some reactions were positive, others were mixed, but Daou and Offroad stood firm, their newfound bond giving them strength.

Later that evening, as they walked hand-in-hand through the school gardens, Daou turned to Offroad, his expression thoughtful. "This won’t be easy. People will talk, and some won’t understand."

Offroad squeezed his hand, his gaze steady. "I don’t care what they think. As long as we’re honest with each other and stay true to ourselves, we can handle anything."

Daou nodded, feeling a swell of gratitude and affection for the Omega beside him. "You’re right. We’ll face it together."

With that resolve, they continued their walk, the future uncertain but promising. Whatever obstacles came their way, they were ready to meet them head-on, their connection growing stronger with each passing day.
