The sun filtered through the curtains of their bedroom, casting a warm glow over the room. Offroad stirred first, his body still languid and relaxed from the night before. He turned his head to see Daou still asleep beside him, his expression peaceful, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Offroad couldn’t help but smile too. He felt a deep sense of contentment as he watched Daou sleep. Their first night in Bangkok had been everything he’d hoped for—and more. It wasn’t just about the passion they’d shared but the undeniable bond that had only grown stronger since they’d moved here together.

Unable to resist, Offroad leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to Daou’s shoulder, causing him to stir. Daou’s eyes fluttered open, and he smiled sleepily at Offroad. “Morning,” he murmured, his voice husky from sleep.

“Morning,” Offroad replied, his voice soft. “Did you sleep well?”

Daou stretched, his muscles flexing beneath the sheets. “Best sleep I’ve had in a long time,” he said, pulling Offroad closer. “How about you?”

Offroad nodded, snuggling into Daou’s embrace. “Same. I’m just…happy, you know? Being here with you, starting this new life together.”

Daou’s smile widened, and he kissed Offroad’s forehead. “I’m happy too. We’ve got a lot to look forward to.”

After spending a few more minutes wrapped up in each other, they reluctantly got out of bed and began their morning routine. The day ahead promised new challenges and opportunities, and they were eager to dive in.

As Daou dressed for work, Offroad watched him with a mix of pride and admiration. Daou had always been driven, and his new job at the design firm was the perfect fit for his talents. “You’re going to kill it today,” Offroad said, grinning as he handed Daou his tie.

Daou smirked, taking the tie and looping it around his neck. “Thanks, babe. And you’ll be just as amazing with your freelance projects. I know it.”

Offroad felt a surge of confidence at Daou’s words. He was excited about his freelance work, but there was also a hint of nervousness. This was a new chapter, and he wanted to make sure he succeeded—not just for himself, but for both of them.

After breakfast, they left the apartment together, their paths splitting as Daou headed to the design firm and Offroad made his way to a nearby café. The café had become his go-to spot for working on his projects, a place where he could immerse himself in creativity while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

Offroad spent the morning working on a new project for a client, his focus razor-sharp as he brought his ideas to life on the screen. The work was challenging but rewarding, and he found himself lost in the process, time slipping away without notice.

It wasn’t until his phone buzzed with a message from Daou that he realized how late it had gotten. The text was simple but made his heart skip a beat.

*Daou: Missing you already. Can’t wait to see you tonight. ❤️*

Offroad smiled at the screen, his fingers quickly typing a response.

*Offroad: Can’t wait either. Dinner at our favorite spot?*

*Daou: Absolutely. See you then.*

The rest of the day passed quickly, and as the sun began to set, Offroad packed up his things and made his way to the restaurant where they had their first meal together in Bangkok. It had quickly become their favorite spot, a cozy place with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

When Offroad arrived, Daou was already there, seated at a table near the window. He looked up as Offroad approached, his face lighting up with a smile that made Offroad’s heart flutter.

“You’re here,” Daou said, standing to greet him with a kiss. “How was your day?”

“Busy but good,” Offroad replied, sliding into the seat across from Daou. “Yours?”

“Challenging, but I loved it,” Daou said, his eyes shining with enthusiasm. “I’ve got a project I’m really excited about. Can’t wait to tell you all about it.”

They spent the next hour talking about their days, their conversation flowing easily as they enjoyed their meal. The food was as excellent as always, and by the time they finished, both of them were feeling satisfied and content.

As they walked back to their apartment, hand in hand, Offroad felt a sense of peace settle over him. The city was alive with lights and sounds, but all he could focus on was Daou beside him, their fingers intertwined.

When they reached their apartment, they kicked off their shoes and collapsed onto the couch together, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up to them. Daou pulled Offroad into his arms, resting his chin on top of his head.

“This is nice,” Offroad murmured, his voice drowsy as he relaxed into Daou’s embrace.

“Yeah, it is,” Daou agreed, his voice equally soft. “I think we’re going to be really happy here.”

Offroad smiled, closing his eyes as he listened to the steady rhythm of Daou’s heartbeat. “Me too,” he whispered, his voice filled with contentment.

The days turned into weeks, and as they settled into their new life, Offroad and Daou faced their fair share of challenges. Daou’s job was demanding, often requiring late nights and tight deadlines, while Offroad struggled with the uncertainties of freelancing, juggling multiple projects and clients.

But through it all, they had each other. They found comfort in their shared moments, whether it was cooking dinner together, exploring the city on weekends, or simply unwinding on the couch after a long day.

Their relationship continued to grow, deepening with every experience they shared. The passion they had for each other never waned, and they made sure to carve out time for intimacy, keeping their connection strong despite the demands of their new life.

One evening, after a particularly long week, Daou came home late, exhausted but determined to see Offroad. When he walked through the door, Offroad was waiting for him, a soft smile on his lips. “Rough day?” Offroad asked, his voice gentle as he moved to help Daou with his jacket.

“Yeah,” Daou admitted, letting Offroad take his jacket and hang it up. “But seeing you makes it all better.”

Offroad’s heart swelled at the sincerity in Daou’s voice. “Come on,” he said, taking Daou’s hand and leading him to the bathroom. “I drew a bath for you. Thought you could use it.”

Daou’s eyes softened with appreciation. “You’re amazing, you know that?”

Offroad just smiled, helping Daou undress before guiding him into the warm, soothing water. Daou sighed in relief as he sank into the tub, the tension in his muscles slowly melting away.

Offroad knelt beside the tub, gently washing Daou’s back, his touch light and soothing. “You work too hard,” he murmured, his fingers tracing the lines of Daou’s shoulders.

“I know,” Daou replied, his voice a low rumble. “But it’s worth it. Especially when I have you to come home to.”

Offroad leaned in, kissing Daou’s temple. “I’m glad. I want to be here for you, always.”

Daou’s hand reached out, pulling Offroad closer. “You are. And I’ll always be here for you too.”

They stayed like that for a while, the quiet of the bathroom broken only by the gentle splashes of water and the steady rhythm of their breathing. It was a simple moment, but one filled with love and understanding.

As they eventually moved to the bedroom, the intimacy between them only deepened. They made love slowly, tenderly, savoring every touch and kiss, every whispered word of affection. It was a reminder of the strength of their bond, a reassurance that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always have each other.

When they finally fell asleep, wrapped in each other’s arms, they knew that their journey in Bangkok was just beginning. There would be ups and downs, but with their love as their anchor, they were ready to face whatever came their way, together.
