The bang of the last shot that will take the life out of Layla only makes the grin on my face grow bigger. Alex looks at me and pretends to blow away the smoke from her gun. Laya collapses after her last words, in which she begs Alex not to kill her.

Laya's words and pleas were all double, you could see it as begging Alex to give up so it wouldn't get worse, or you could see it as begging Alex not to kill her.

For Rose it will be the first one she will think that Laya was scared and begged Alex to stop resisting their death, but for us it will always be the last one. Rose will think that Alex was trying to save Laya and herself. Rose will think that Alex is still the sweet sister she has always been. But she isn't. Alex is the one who shot Laya. Alex is the one who let Laya her blood flow.

Alex turns to me and walks towards me. She briefly presses her lips to mine and runs her hand over my cheek. "Shoot.. Vaine" she says and takes a few steps back. She keeps looking at me, pretending to be angry "You— you—". I hesitate for a moment, but then pull out the gun and shoot Alex in the stomach before she can finish her sentence.
