THE NEXT DAY
"At the end of the queen's funeral, her coffin was burned to ashes by the magic of the Eclipse" The woman on the news briefly looks at her cheat sheet "The Eclipse and the Lunars both do not want to make a statement about this". We had not been outside the graveyard for five minutes when this happened. The Eclipse clearly does not agree that the island wants to mourn the queen.
"The two current Lunars were also taken by the Eclipse after the incident, it has not yet been determined where to" The woman speaks again "It was pretty rough, the Lunars resistance advises to stay away from the Eclipse". My mother looks at me "They are terrible, how could they do something like that?". I shake my head "I don't know, mom". Silence, the woman on the news also says nothing. I turn the ring around my finger back and forth, as soon as I got it around my finger I felt a force shoot through me. It feels strong, even when I touch the silver now.
"Sissy!" A voice sounds from the kitchen, the y is held longer in her mouth. I laugh at her voice and then walk over to her "What is it?" I ask my sister. She points to the laptop that is in front of her on the kitchen island "It's not working". There is a front page of a powerpoint on the screen.
