Thalia's POV:
Walking into the arena this week I tried to keep my distance from everyone in my family except for Solo. After what went down in the locker room before my match last Friday I just couldn't look them in the eyes.
And that's not just at work even when I'm at home with my dad it's tense and I think my mom and brothers can tell but they just don't wanna get involved in it. They want us to settle it by ourselves.
So I have no idea how tonight's gonna go down.
Especially because I have a match against Shayna Baszler because of her actions last week...
*FLASHBACK*
"Thalia tonight you managed to defeat 5 other women to become the #1 contender for the Smackdown women's championship. What does this victory tonight mean for your future in the WWE and in the bloodline?" -Cathy Kelly
"Cathy tonight only gave me more confidence that I can do the same thing to Ronda at Survivor Series. Now for my future in WWE, this small victory is only cementing me into my family and wrestling legacy. I'm following behind my dad and my uncles, along with my grandfather and many others who came before me. I just hope that I am able to honor them with everything I do in that ring." -Thalia
"Speaking of your family, we all saw what went down in the bloodline locker room before your match, what does this mean for you and your relationship with your dad and uncles?" -Cathy
"Ooo Cathy I knew you were gonna ask about that. I mean it sucks that they are doubting me but that's how it's been my whole life, being the oldest daughter and first niece of this generation I was babied my whole childhood. And it wasn't until I started training 3 years ago that I was able to realize that I didn't need my family to get me into this company, I did it with my own talent. And that talent is the same thing that's gonna get me my first main roster title-" -Thalia
Before I could continue I felt someone hit me from behind. I fell to the ground holding my head. I looked up to see Shayna standing above me.
She grabbed my hair and dragged me up before throwing me into the crates off to the side. I grabbed my shoulder in pain, tightly closing my eyes and breathing heavily.
Shayna smirked before grabbing my hurt shoulder and repeatedly hitting it against the crates, and she would've continued but luckily she was pulled off by security with my dad yelling at them to get her back.
