We were invited to the GQ headquarters to film a video of us answering frequently asked questions. I don't think that people really understand our relationship or know much about us so I think this will be a great way to introduce them to who we are as a couple.
"Hey GQ." I smile softly. "I'm Kandice Kardashian."
Jose nods in the direction of the camera, "I'm J Balvin."
"And we are going to be answering your hot, burning questions about us." I thrust my arm in the air before looking over at my partner. "Let's do this."
"How did you meet?"
"I'm sure that we have given different answers over the years but I'm pretty sure that we met at an event where we exchanged numbers but we didn't start dating right away. Jose was always touring for his music so we flirted over the phone for an entire year which sounds crazy but we did that before I decided to give us a go." I laugh at how wild that sounds because I forgot all about it. "Best decision I made but we have been on and off for a number of years now."
"Why do you keep getting back together?"
"I actually don't know why we keep getting back together." I glance over at Jose who looks even hotter now that he is growing out his hair again. "Cupid must have been following us around because no matter where we were in life or who we were dating, we always found our way back to eachother."
"We have a strong connection with eachother, right." Jose looks at me for confirmation and I nod my head. "We spent a lot of time together when I was on the road and it forced us to talk because that's a big part of dating so I got to know the real Kandice Kardashian and not just the woman we saw on TV."
"How do you manage being working parents?"
"I feel like this is a trick question because everyone is going to come for me anyways but I am the only sibling who does not have a nanny for her child." I pull a face because the internet are notorious for slandering my family over this. "Being a working parent is difficult hence why I haven't done more for myself but I am privileged in having the type of job that allows me to bring my child along for the ride. My family are a big support system because they step in to take care of our son when we really need that time to work without distractions."
Jose clears his throat, "Kandice is the reason why I am able to work the way that I do which is why I will always give her the flowers she deserves."
