It's been seven months months since I released my album and I'm only getting around to promoting it. I did hold five concerts but I never went on any talk shows to talk about it or anything. The only reason why I am now promoting it is because I am coming out with a live sessions and acoustic version of the album.
Since I've been taking time for myself and my family, I haven't really been in the studio for myself. I've been working on a collaborative album with Elle, Luxe, Nia and Violet but we've decided to put a pause on it since we were destroying our friendship over it.
"It has been a very long time since we have last had you on here." Jimmy states after complimenting my appearance.

"It has, it has been such a long year in general." I respond with a laugh. "There is always so much going on."
"You got divorced last year." My smile falters but I nod my head. "You gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and you released your debut album."
Everyone applauds and I smile.
"Just call me superwoman." I joke and he laughs.
"Why did you decide to make an album?" Jimmy asks. "You previously expressed that an album was out of the question but here we are now."
"I know." I smile. "After my divorce, I became really lost and I didn't know what I was doing with my life. I have a shapewear line with my sister, I have a family tv show and I have released a few singles but what else do I have going for me? Looking at my son's father and what he has achieved, it made me happy knowing that he will have a role model. I look at my son then I look at myself and I wonder what would he think of me? What could he look up to me for so I decided to create an album."
"How I Feel was number one on the Billboard charts for ten weeks." Jimmy excitedly says and I nod my head in confirmation.
"Yes, it was the number one album for ten weeks until Drake knocked me off." I playfully pull an angry face and we all laugh about it.
