Bhen's jaw hit the ground at the sight before her. The other Wookiees shot at the mechanical hand that held the kids as it made its way toward the sky.

The gloved hand on Bhen's arm disappeared. She turned to find smoke instead of the Mandalorian. She tilted her head back to find him in the air flying towards the claw.

Bhen's eyes locked on the green dot in the distance. Even though Grogu talked with an age far beyond his physical appearance, he was still a kid. She couldn't help but wonder how scared he must feel during this moment of being ripped away from safety as well as being blasted at.

"Stop!" She cried out to the Wookiees who aimed their blasters at the claw.

"You'll hurt them if you keep blasting at them!" The Wookiees lowered their weapons with a bellowing roar.

Bhen walked towards the woman Wookiee placing her hands on her trembling shoulders. Bhen concluded that this was the child's mother.

"We'll find another way to get him back. I promise."

The Mandalorian lowered himself to the ground with his jetpack powering down behind him. Everyone watched with expectant eyes as he dropped one arm to reveal Grogu clinging to his chest.

The childless mother fell to her knees with a screeching cry. Bhen went down with her and held the woman in her arms.

"We're going to get him back it's okay-"

"Get up. We're leaving." The Mandalorian interrupted in between breaths. Bhen looked up at him with a burning glare.

"The hell we are!" She retorted while getting to her feet.

"That family just lost their child and watched as you saved yours. Not to mention the fact that only moments ago we were on our way to their home where they are graciously allowing us to stay." She explained while stalking her way over to him putting herself directly in front of his hidden face.

"You have to help them."

"I don't have to do anything. We have been compromised." He glanced down at the kid in his arms for a brief moment before continuing.

"We need to get back to the ship and leave immediately even if half the wires are exposed and sparking."

He pivoted on his feet and went in the opposite direction of the group of hopeless Wookiees.

When he noticed Bhen wasn't following, he stopped without looking back.

"Don't make me drag you back to the ship. I don't want to but I will if you don't start walking-"

"You're a Mandalorian, correct?" She asked dismissing his prior threats.

"Where is your honor? Your dignity?" She knew he was listening now and pressed on.

"You're in their debt but you're just walking away?" The Mandalorian's shoulders fell at the sound of her throwing his words back in his face.

"These people need your help. You know as well as I do that we can't leave them-"

"We?" The Mandalorian turned to face Bhen.

"There is no we. You are going back with the Wookiees to their settlement and staying there until that kid is home and safe with his mother. Is that clear?"

Bhen smiled behind her blue helm feeling relief wash over her like the Denaliaon shores.

She knew this kept her out of the action but it didn't matter. She'd plot her escape from the Mandalorian another day.

"Crystal."

Ocean waves decorated Bhen's bare back. She poured fresh water from a the metal pitcher down her face which contrasted the warm perspiration that had been evading her pours for days.
