TW: Alcoholism
—————————————————————————
WINTERS POV:
It was the night of the Annual Halloween ball, I took myself off to the bathroom at the luxurious revenue to find Autumn stood by the sink, gazing into the mirror. She was absolutely hammered by all the alcohol she had drunk, everyone knew she had an alcohol problem but I never knew it was this bad. She was staggering all over the place, she couldn't even walk in a straight line. "Autumn...?" I called her name, she turned her head towards me and I took a gentle step towards her. She was in an unstable condition. About ten seconds after I took a step forward she just walked into my arms and I held her tight. We used to despise one another but now I don't know what I'd do without her.
We walked out of the bathroom, I had her in my arms and I went over to tell Marjorie that I was going to take Autumn home, she wished us a safe journey home and told me to look after the tall brunette, we started walking back to my black Mercedes. I lifted Autumn into the passenger's seat and got in round the driver's side. She rested her head on my shoulder and I stroked her cheek, wrapping my arms around the vulnerable girl.
I started driving back to my house, Autumn was far too drunk to be alone in her own house so I brought her back to mine, as we got out of the car I wrapped an arm around my darling, I twisted the key and we walked into the dark, themed house.

AUTUMN'S POV:
As I clung to Winter, my mind swirled into a haze of regret and mass gratitude. The night had started with such excitement, the allure of the Halloween ball and the promise of escapism through each sip of wine. Yet now, as I leaned heavily on him the realisation of my dependency struck harder than any other hangover could.
I mumbled a barely coherent apology but I was hushed gently, his warmth and care enveloping me. "It's okay, Autumn," he whispered guiding me through the hallway. The familiar scent of his home - a mix of vanilla and lavender - he was a comforting balm to my frazzled nerves. He sat me down on the edge of his bed, and for a moment, the world felt less like it was spinning out of control.
"Let me get you some water," he said in a soft tone, moving to the kitchen. I watched him go, my vision blurred but my heart achingly clear. I owed him so much - more than I could ever repay.
When he returned, he handed me the glass of water, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and determination. "You need to start taking care of yourself Autumn," he said, his voice gentle but firm. I nodded, swallowing the water as well as the lump which was forming at the back of my throat.
As I lay down, he laid beside me and lifted the duvet over us both. Winter started cuddling my waist, the act so tender that it brought a tears to both of my eyes. "I'm sorry," I whispered again, but he just shook his head.
"Get some rest my darling," he replied, brushing a strand of hair from my freckly face. "We'll talk in the morning." He said before he turned the glimmering lampshade off, the room plunging into complete, utter darkness.
