A week has gone by and Akaza was on a search for Kyojuro. He wanted to see him so desperately it almost made him look like a fool. Maybe even a fool for Kyojuro. Akaza had seen wisteria trees in the distance and guessed the one he was looking for would be there. Turns out he was right, so he jumped high enough to reach windows until he found Kyojuro's. When we did, he slid open the window cautiously, being as quiet as possible. He just crouched in the window, admiring Kyojuro before he cringed at how his injuries they looked. Gosh did he feel terrible for it.

Akaza then heard some footsteps, growing near Kyojuro's door. He slipped out the window, doing one of the worst things possible... Hanging off the window's ledge. With just his fingertips. Annoyed already, he listened in to the conversation that was brewing.

It was Shinobu, but not like the demon recognized her. In fact, he didn't even see what she looked like. As she stepped into the room to do her regular checkup on Rengoku. She was replacing the bandages, and as she did so, she accidentally awoke him. "O-Oh, sorr-" The lady paused. "Y-You're awake!" She whisper-yelled. Unfortunately, Rengoku was too tired to speak to the moment. All he could do was smile. If it weren't for Shinobu's voice, Rengoku may have not even been able to identify who the person was next to his bed. It's not like he was blind, despite being like 45%, or 65% blind in his left eye. But, he could not open it just yet, until it healed. Rengoku was just tired. Worn out. "It's alright.." The blonde man managed to say, ever so quietly as he tilted his head to look at Shinobu. "Do not strain yourself... You're wounds are pretty severe." Hearing this made shivers of guilt go down Akaza's back. He continued listening, eventually getting bored and randomly doing small pullups(showoff). Shinobu finished rewrapping Rengoku's stomach. "...Uppermoon three, was it?" "Mm.. I believe so." Shinobu began putting some medicine over Rengoku's other wounds and rewrapping them, such as his head. "..I think it was... Akaza." As Akaza heard his name pronounced with venom, especially in the tone of the flame Hashira gave him more shivers. It wasn't of fear, it wasn't of anger, It was... joy? Even Kyojuro hasn't a clue why he brought up the name. "Interesting... Well, you're all patched up until tomorrow. Goodnight, Rengoku-san." Shinobu said, setting some tea on Rengoku's nightstand. It seems to be a medicine type of tea. "Goodnight, Kocho." He replied, watching as she left. His forced smile finally fell, he glanced at the tea, deciding to drink it later since there was something covering it to keep it warm before going back to sleep.

Akaza heard Rengoku go quiet, so he suspected that he'd gone to sleep again. He crawled back through the window, gazing at Kyojuro once more before he started coughing due to being around so many wisteria trees for so long. He covered his mouth as he decided to leave, closing the window behind him.

Hey pookies I know this is still short but I got things to do before I go to bed so uhm yeah. I've realized the immediate attention my recent work has gotten and oh my lord thank you so much. It's not much but it's enough for me to keep writing♡

This story will probably take longer, or shorter, idk to update than my other story: Backstage. Since this story is based off a roleplay I actually am currently doing with my brother and we aren't very far, I can't spoil too much yet.
