Kamari
Kamari grew up in a tough neighborhood where the sounds of arguments and sirens were a part of the daily soundtrack. From a young age, he faced the harsh reality of an abusive home. His father, often drunk and angry, would take out his frustrations on Kamari, leaving him with bruises and a deep-seated fear that no child should have to endure.
His mother rarely ever stepped in,not even due to the fact that she would get hit to, she just didn't care, she didn't care that her 240lb husband was putting his hands on her baby, she never argued with him, she never interfered and that's what made kamari's view of his mom change forever and that hurt him because all a child needs is their mommy.
Kamari could only think of one reason his dad would want to cause him pain and that was the fact that he was intersex his had always had something to say along the lines of 'You could never be my son, i'll call you my son when you have the parts to prove it but until then you're just a pussy.'
As Kamari grew older, the fear turned into a simmering rage. He found peace in the local boxing gym by his school, where he could channel his anger into something more productive. The gym became his sanctuary, a place where he could fight back against the helplessness he felt at home. Over time, Kamari became known for his fierce fighting style and relentless determination. Fighting was more than just a sport for him; it was a way to reclaim his power and protect himself from the world that had once hurt him so deeply.
Despite his tough exterior, Kamari carried the scars of his past. He struggled with trust and often kept people at arm's length. But in the ring, he found a sense of control and purpose that helped him navigate the complexities of his life. Fighting became his way of coping, a testament to his resilience and his refusal to be a victim any longer.
Kamari would refuse to ever let anyone belittle him as much as his own parents did, but not all good things came out of learning how to fight, kamari didn't only like fighting he loved it.
He got addicted to the way his hands felt crashing into his opponent's face over and over imagining it was his father, the man that caused all this pain and mental suffering, he loved how he could see his opponent struggle against the fists repeatedly colliding into their bodies, he loved not feeling helpless.
The rage he carried from his abusive past made it difficult for him to walk away from conflicts, and he often found himself in physical altercations at school and around the neighborhood.
One day, a particularly intense fight broke out at school. Kamari had been provoked by a group of older students who knew about his troubled home life and decided to push his buttons. Unable to control his anger, Kamari lashed out, and the fight quickly escalated, causing significant disruption and injuries.
The school's administration had already given Kamari multiple warnings about his behavior. This incident was the tipping point. The principal, concerned for the safety of other students and recognizing that Kamari needed more help than the school could provide, made the difficult decision to send him to a disciplinary school.
Kamari didn't know what to expect but what he really hoped to find here was just a little bit of freedom.
